A truly unique experience staying at this place. It's private, secluded, very comfortable, and the scenery is absolutely amazing. We took the adventurous hike down to the beach, then walked the long way back to the cottage, taking the road. The trail by the house that goes down to the beach should only be taken by those who are experienced with hiking, it's definitely an adventurous trek. We made dinner both nights and found that the home is sufficiently stocked with a nice set of cookware, dishes and eating utensils. Electric baseboard heating keeps you warm in a pinch, and the fireplace helps add a nice background glow and warmth during the cooler weather. The pair of blankets by the couch came in handy when we went to sit outside in the chairs on the porch to watch the sunset and chat over some drinks. This place was the perfect weekend getaway where it felt like we were away from everything, yet everything was just a 5 minute drive away.

Privacy and an amazing setting. Great view of ocean and beach from the bluff. Fantastic set up for a couple. The beach below is best reached by the nearby public access points and the beach is beautiful. Hiking the trail contiguous to the property was fun. Bring your hiking shoes. We had deer on the property. Whales seen nearby. Birds and bats and more wildlife. Very comfortable living space. Great views from main floor and master. Can't say enough. We loved it.

I am a real estate agent, handbag designer, business owner, wife and mother of three boys, ages; 7, 10 and 12. I live and work in Ashland, OR. a smallish town in Southern Oregon and home of a very well known Shakespeare Festival. My husband is a building contractor and we have lived in Ashland for 14 years. I work in real estate because I love houses and helping people to find their perfect home. I also love to create beautiful spaces and enjoy remodeling and decorating our homes. We are travel enthusiasts and most recently we packed up our car and drove deep into Mexico and spent six months living there with our boys in Guanajuato. We have spent most of our time as a family in Mexico simply because of its proximity to the US and ease of getting there, but we have huge dreams of traveling the world and have considered putting our home on a house exchange program because it is very well-appointed, neat and tidy and would be a wonderful place for travelers to stay. At home in Southern Oregon, we are very active and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities such as biking, sailing, horseback riding, hiking, running, snowsports.
We have raised our children to be very respectful of other people, their spaces and belongings. We are fun loving, neat and tidy and take good care to be the type of guests that people would want to see again!
