Welcome to the downtown gem! I live with my cat Noodles. My place is close to restaurants and bars! I am less than five miles from East Atlanta, Zoo Atlanta, Little Five Points, Georgia Dome, Turner Field, and GSU. I am a blink's eye from I-20, I-75, and I-85. I am only about ten minutes from the airport! You are welcome to tea and coffee in the mornings if you would like. I provide you with a "welcome basket" and you will also have access to my "Guest Guide" of attractions in the area.
There is one bedroom, one bathroom, laundry room, dining room, living room, and kitchen. I spend the majority of my time working but when I am home, I love to cook and work on DIY projects (which you will find all throughout the space). I also have a cute balcony that I enjoy sitting out on throughout the day. My cat is very gentle and she may ask you politely for a rub or two ;-) You will be provided with a key for entry during your stay. In order to keep costs down-the thermostat usually stays on 65-67. Although the listed space is actually my living room, you will have as much privacy as possible as the bedroom and bathroom are at the rear. The space will also be gated off from the cat so she does not disturb you! Enjoy yourself in the ATL!
Guests will have access to the living room area, shared bathroom, kitchen (microwave and designated area in the refrigerator to store your food items) only, and the balcony if you would like (please no smoking). Within the living room area, guests will have the option to sleep on the queen-sized air mattress or the comfortable couch with comfy sheets and pillows. The couch is not a pull-out (sorry...) Guests will be greeted with an array of natural light beaming from the windows as well as a "welcome" basket and a "guest guide" for all of the different attractions throughout the Atlanta area! The room is also equipped with a flat-screen television and DVD player but I do not have cable. However, you will have access to Netflix to stream movies live on your phone/tablet/laptop. I also have a great deal of dvds if your prefer. The hall closet has plenty of room to hang your things as well as a hamper and luggage rack. You will also have access to towels for your visit as well as toiletries (to be used as needed) throughout your stay! The bathroom has a renovated vanity, space to store your belongings, toilet, and tub (for showers or baths). Tea and coffee will be offered/provided each morning through use of the Keurig in the kitchen.
Interaction with guests
I would love to take the opportunity to welcome you into my home and show you around. Sometimes I am very busy and that may require you to come right in and make yourself at home. However, I am always available via text/phone/email for questions and/or concerns. I am happy to leave you alone or chat with you and provide tips about traveling in the ATL. It depends on your preference and I will respect your wishes!
Other things to note
I live in a quiet area and sometimes you will hear people walking up and down the stairs. The parking lot is well lit at night. I usually jog in the wee hours of the morning and I attest to the great workout you could have either walking or jogging the area.

I am originally from New York. I love living ITP (In the Perimeter) as fellow Georgians call it! I enjoy going to concerts, festivals, lounges, art shows, plays, meeting new people, traveling outside the US, and anything else Atlanta has to offer-thats what happens when you live 10-15 minutes from everything that is everything here.
