Be welcomed in a brand new, cozy one-bedroom apartment in the beautiful Letna district in Prague 7, the ideal mixture of trendy and historical neighborhood. 15 min from the centre, surrounded by Prague's favourite parks, galleries, museums, restaurants and bars, but still keeping it's lively atmosphere designed and fostered by the residents. We have grown up in Letna, hope you'll enjoy your stay as much as we love living here.
The apartment is in a newly renovated historical building from late 19th century located in a quiet street with trees.
The tram stop towards the center is 100m near, the underground station Vltavska (line C) is 10 min by walk.
Parking in the street is for residents only, but you can use either an underground parking at the intersection of streets Bubenska and Hermanova or a parking place at Bubenska street behind the railway crossing, both 500m from the apartment.
The apartment is brand new with renovated classic Czech design armchairs and table from the 60s that will help you to enjoy the relax zone by the bow window.
If you are a basketball player the sleep might be tricky, but for rest of the population the 200x160 cm size bed should work.
Lying in the bed you might notice the glass chandelier, an iconic design piece heavily popular in Czechoslovakia back in the 60s and 70s.
You might be looking for a TV. Well, we love movies and series as well, but Prague is full of things to experience, that's what you came for, right?
But we suggest to use the bluetooth speaker instead for your favourite music. The internet connection is pretty fast (150/15 mb) and with no data limits, so any streaming service will do. Just respect the neighbours while DJing please.
You are welcomed to use the fully equiped kitchen with an electric, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop with double burner and a fridge (don't forget to taste the Pilsner Urquell beer inside). Just notice the tap water can be very hot. There is also tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil for free use. The rest can be found at the grocery shop right at the corner of the building or in a bigger supermarket 2 min around the block.
Speaking of tap water, there's no need to spend money on Evian, tap water in Prague is perfectly fine.
Your two pairs of towels and a hair dryer are in the bathroom, a shampoo and a shower gel are there too, in case they busted yours at the airport. And we believe you might appreciate the heated floor in the bathroom.
For emergency situations you can find a flashlight, a first aid kit and an umbrella in the cabinet opposite to the bed. The fire extinguisher is at the bottom of the wardrobe in the hall.
- Please respect the night hours from 10.00 pm until 7.00 am
- Don't forget to always lock the front door and close the windows when you leave the apartment
- Please leave the shoes at the hall of the apartment if possible
- When entering the building hallway please carry your wheeled luggage if possible
We are mum and daughter who love to live in Prague. Thanks to our children/grandchildren we get the chance to see the city from a different perspective, either it is from buying an icecream, going to the cinema, hop on an old tram or just take a walk by the river. We'll try our best to share our joy for this city with travellers from all around the world.
