I had a great time in the apartment, which was important since we've spent almost two months in Rome. We felt like we were at our own home! Building is also nice and well kept. The place is actually bigger than it seems on pictures. Kitchen is fully equipped and new, beds are comfortable, living area is nice. Paolo was a great host, very polite and friendly, at your disposal for any question. Location was very convenient for my needs, but even not in downtown, it's good connected with historic center by trams as well as with the train to Vatican and it's a walking distance to historic part of Trastevere. I would highly recommend this flat and also be very glad to stay here again.

Paolo was so welcoming. Everything was perfect when we got there. We needed things throughout our stay and every time he made it happen. Really made our visit to Rome even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this!

What an amazing apartment in my favourite part of Rome . Paolo is a real gentleman who met us very late to show us around . The apartment itself is huge and the pictures do not do it justice at all . With a very nice garden terrace it is perfect to relax in the shade while still feeling the Roman heat. I really can not rate this place any higher and of all the apartments i have stayed in Rome this is surely the best . Also it is only 5 minutes from the best pizzeria in Rome Ai Marmi in Trestevere

Alessandro met us at the train station and showed us many useful hints as to how to get around and where to get shopping from on the short walk back to the apartment. When we arrived, we were suprised by the size of the apartment and the living area was very large. The apartment is very close to a tram bus (number 8) that takes you straight to Palazzo Venezia and also via Trastavere which is a great little place to hang out and bar hop or grab a great bite to eat.

I never met Paolo and Franziska but interacted with Alessandro whom managed the property. I had difficulty connecting with him initially as I did not have phone or internet service but once we finally did he was extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartment was as described, clean, open and wonderful. Buses are from the Trastevere Station area and quite easy. The metro is an easy 20 minute walk. Buy an all encompassing pass for all public transport for the day, 3 days or a month. Taxis are also pretty easy to come by. Uber works as well in Rome. Kitchen was well outfitted to cook. I was without water for one night but this was because of a burst pipe in the street. Be aware, there is a 2 Euro/night cash fee added on arrival (Rome law) and a 25 Euro check-in fee as well. This is not noted in the listing as far as I can tell and was a bit of a surprise though I was tired and didn't discuss this.
