The POD was a great experience on our list - including the dinner outside on the deck. Wonderful place with loads of animals around - check it out!

Cool pods and surprisingly cool place. Great stars at night and great to wake up to the ducks. Bit of a random spot to stay but worked well enough for us.

Lovely stop on our road trip from Wellington to Auckland. It is located just off of the 1, which made finding the place really easy (even when it was (URL HIDDEN) we arrived at 8:30pm). Pods were fairly basic (as we expected), but well arranged, the beds were comfortable, and the shower room was very clean. The cafe food was simple but very good - coffee (any style) is complimentary with an overnight stay - which was a lovely surprise. We had a great time meeting and petting all the animals (including goats, ponies, ducks and alpacas) - animal feed is only $1 from the cafe. The location is beautiful, but most importantly, the owners and staff were wonderful and extremely polite!

My wife and two of our grandchildren spent two nights here, on our way to and from the Ohakea airshow. It was perfect for our needs, especially with two kids with more energy to burn than 7 hours in a car seat allowed for. The facilities for them were perfect and enabled them to sleep early, well and long! Its location os perfect for a stop when making the north to south journey, especially as with traffic moving much more slowly these days, a day trip from Auckland to Wellington is a lot less possible than it once was. We will definitely use it again.
