HometownPH aims to give budget travelers a great experience with nice, clean, family-friendly hotels/hostels where they feel at home yet easy on the pocket. It aims to promote our very hometown, the Philippines.

It’s for the young, casual, transient, travelers and/or backpackers where they can have common areas to relax and unwind, but inside, they will have all the basic services of a hotel.

The space

The place tells you everything about the city or town where it is located. Inside, you will see galleries, maps and guides on where to go, what to do, what and where to eat, how to commute and the staff are friendly and well versed of their place. We go an extra mile for you and give you tips on how to enjoy that place.

Guest access

A strategic location in Bacolod’s Lacson Tourism Strip, where everything is alive and accessible. On the same compound is a 24-hour coffee shop, Tom n Tom’s (Korea’s version of Starbucks – their first in the Philippines). There’s also a salon, spa, several other restaurants (including Bacolod Chicken House, Pendy’s, 21), bars and a 24-hour convenience store within a 500m radius. Robinson’s Mall Bacolod is a 5-minute walk.

Interaction with guests

We have a full staff (front desk and housekeeping) ready to attend to your needs 24/7.

Hometown Hotel is a decent accommodation for those who are on a budget. PROS: - Location was great. Along Lacson St. where a lot of restaurants, cafe, groceries and 24 hour convenience stores were located. - Easily accessible, easy to find for the taxi drivers because it is in front of the ABS-CBN station. - Cold aircon, good wifi connection though not that fast. - Staff are courteous and helpful. CONS: - Needs to improve the cleanliness of the hotel. The tiles in the toilet had visible dirt in between the tiles. The shower curtain had a very strong odor. Must have been there for quiet a long time already and needs replacement. - Towels are no longer that white. Obviously, they need to be replaced. - Heater was not functioning, I reported it and they fixed it. - My room was not cleaned, thrash were not emptied and bed was not fixed. - I was supposed to stay for 3 days but when I checked in I was told that they overbooked the hotel so they had to book me to another hotel. I was booked to a nearby hotel named Saltimboca. While it was a decent hotel, it was a bit old and dark.

Thanks, Hometown! I love the location of the place. It's right behind Tom N Tom's coffee (24 hours) and practically in the middle of where you want to go when in Bacolod city. Nice and friendly staff. Perfect hotel for someone who just wants to go around the city, take naps in between and have a sound sleep at night.

Perfect location - close to restaurants, the museum, the capitol lagoon, few minutes from main malls (SM City, Robinsons). If you're a recreational runner, you'd find Lacson Street conducive for your long slow morning run throughout the city. There's a convenience store across the road for your basic groceries/ purchases. For the place itself, it's a hostel so from time to time there may be some noise that might interrupt your quiet sleep (I was at room 2) but not really a main issue. Host and staff are courteous and nice. Room is decently clean and has digibox. Makes for an enjoyable and satisfactory overnight stay. :)

Thanks for the great stay, Hometown. Good place, great location, best staff. We were satisfied with the room, it looked exactly like what's on the photo. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful. We were able to go to the places we wanted to visit easily even via commute as the staff gave us clear directions of what jeepney rides to take and key landmarks. We didn't feel that we have to take cabs because the place is very accessible to public transport and even walking distance to some good shops and restos.

Just what I needed. Great location in the strip. Walking distance to everything I needed, and a great common area for hosting or food prep. Extending my stay!
