The flat is very spacious, light and minimalistic. Lots of space to store your suitcases. Its on the third floor and has a very high ceiling. One should not be put off by the winding staircase or the appearance of the public entrance or passages, I am sure the owners will renovate some time soon, but please note, there is no lift. The winding staircase may pose a bit of a challenge to the not so bodily fit. Inside the flat everything was very fresh, clean and tidy. A small bottle of whine and sweets on the pillows awaited us that was very welcome after a long journey. I am amazed at how they managed to install a washbasin, a shower and separate toilet in a space usually reserved for a narrow passage, but it works. There is a bus and tram stop about 50m away and the Praterstern is about 10min walking distance away, thus easy access to any public transport system. Also there is no lack of small convenience shops and restaurants, even a small Jewish supermarket. The population around appears to be very mixed from Viennese to Turks, Balkans, Jews, etc., and we nether felt uneasy, unsafe or threatened in any way. Very friendly people there. The flat is worth its price.
