If you dream of getting away to the mountains, you have already envisioned our beautiful cabin. Skyforest, the Bel Air of Lake Arrowhead, is heavily forested with charming homes on large secluded lots. Breathe in the fresh clean mountain air, listen to the birds chirp and watch the squirrels and wildlife among the pines and Dogwood. An occasional coyote, bobcat, or bear may wander by so keep your camera ready! You won't want to leave this breathtaking location in the mountains.
This spacious 1400 square foot 3 bedroom 2 bath home is loaded with charm -- every room has it own view out to the forest with hardly another residence in sight. Sip your morning coffee, read a book or practice Yoga on the large outdoor deck underneath the canopy of pine trees. We have Wifi and a TV with a Roku system to connect to your Netflix account, as well as a large selection of DVD/VHS movies. The cabin is stocked with books and magazines for a lazy afternoon as well as board games and puzzles for family bonding or a quiet evening in for two. The charming kitchen has wood countertops and glass cabinet doors and is well stocked with all the utensils and cookware you need to feel right at home. You can pick up your groceries at a nearby market or bring them with you. A large BBQ gas grill on the deck provides for great cook out opportunities.
There are many nearby hiking trails within walking distance or a short drive.
The Lake Arrowhead Village offers shops, restaurants and free concerts in the summertime. Take a boat tour of the lake. For the kids there is Lollipop Park which offers bumper cars, miniature golf, horse carousel, train ride and more.
Lollipop Park is open 10am-6pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. In the Winter Season (September through May) they are open Thursday through Sunday (weather permitting).

Santa's Village is just a short distance from our cabin.
Interaction with guests
We will be available by phone to answer any questions you have during your stay.
Other things to note
Please come prepared with snow chains or 4WD if you plan to visit in the winter. The mountain conditions are a force to be reckoned with and you must be prepared.
Please supervise children at all times as our home is not childproof.
Pets are only permitted with prior approval and a pet fee may be charged. Guest is responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture at any time.
If more than the agreed upon guests are staying, please notify owner. Six (6) guests is the maximum permitted on the property without prior approval.
The roads leading to our Skyforest home are paved (and plowed in the winter months) and well maintained. Please check weather conditions and forecast and be prepared (with chains if necessary) as we do not refund due to road conditions.
During heavy snow season the road leading to the bottom of our driveway is plowed daily by the County of San Bernardino. Our driveway is steep and unplowed during the winter months and guests may need to park their car on the road at the bottom of the driveway and be prepared to move it when snow plows come through.
We are on a septic system. To avoid plumbing issues, please do not place any of the following materials into our septic tank through the kitchen or bathroom sinks or toilets: excessive amounts of coffee grounds, cooking fats, grease, baby wipes, paper towels, dental floss, tampons, condoms, or any other non-decomposable materials of any kind.
There is no smoking of any kind in the house.
Noise travels far in the forest so please keep noise down especially at night.
Please be sure the house is left in a tidy manner and dishes are washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
Please place all trash in the metal containers in the garage and lock the garage door back up.
Please strip beds or put soiled linens in the laundry room. Leave laundry room door open in winter as there is no heat in the laundry room and pipes will freeze if door is closed.
Please turn down thermostat to 55 degrees to conserve energy when no one is staying but to keep the pipes from freezing in winter.
Please close all windows and lock all doors.
Please return keys to lockbox.
