This is a newly furnished, newly renovated studio room in the Yamnuska Suites building (formerly Pigeon Mountain Motel) in Dead Man's Flats. It is just off of the Highway 1 exit in Dead Man's Flats. The entire building has been renovated and updated to a tasteful modern mountain decor. There is no kitchen in this suite.

Great for couples looking for a spot to explore the Bow Valley, Canmore, Banff and Kananaskis or for a quick stop for the night before continuing on your way.

The location was great and easy to find. Self check-in was really convenient. The space was perfect for 2 people. Would definitely stay here again for the price.

THIS IS A MOTEL! I am not sure how the rooms ended up on AirBnB, but just be aware that this is a listing for MOTEL rooms. Just (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Yamnuska suites and you will get some more realistic pictures. It is a motel directly off Highway 1 that is being renovated. The room itself was quite new, except for the bathtub (which is probably the reason why it's not on the pictures) and also includes a fridge and microwave. Being next to the Highway it is very noisy, though the windows do shut down some of the noise. Check-in was easy in theory (code lock on door), but arriving at dusk we had some trouble finding it - we found the longish explanation in a text message upon arrival rather confusing. I'm not sure why they can't afford putting up a decent sign next to the motel. We spent the last night of our trip to the Rockies before flying back from Calgary. It was inexplicably hot in the room during our stay and the fan in the room didn't really help so that we spent a very bad night unfortunately. If you want to stay in a motel (but then you're probably not checking accommodations on AirBnB) and don't mind the highway noise, the motel is very conveniently located - one hour off Calgary, ten minutes to downtown Canmore and 30 minutes to Banff.

Next to highway, noisy in daytime but got quieter at night. Sheets were nice, place clean, and wireless worked. Old motel next to a gas station.

Was a bit thrown off by it being an old motel, along with the view from the rear, but we were very pleasantly surprised once we got in. Everything looked great! Right along the highway, but once the windows were closed the noise wasn't an issue. Very clear and detailed instructions about check in and info about the place. Would recommend!

Nice, clean place. Well located to explore the Rockies. A little noisy from the sound of the highway at night.
