My home is within walking distance to restaurants with indoor, outdoor and deck dining, gastro pubs, Keegan Ales and the Stockade Tavern, cafes and Outdated , a Saturday farmer's market, Trailways bus station, Kingston Smorgasburg, art galleries, music venues including BSP, historic landmarks and great views of the Catskills.
There is incredible hiking, skiing and access to the Hudson river, lakes and streams all nearby. There are also bike, ski, and kayak rentals in town.
This is a cozy 10X16 space with a covered veranda overlooking the back yard for use as weather permits. There is a small seating area, coffee table, a hot water kettle, supplies for tea or instant coffee, as well as a small fridge. The bathroom is steps from the room.
Guests have access to the parlour which serves as a great space for conversation and relaxing.
Interaction with guests
I am very social by nature but completely respect the preferences of my guests. I am happy to share my extensive knowledge of Kingston as well as the surrounding areas. I am an avid hiker, cycler, kayaker and overall lover of nature as well as the vast array of culinary, and cultural opportunities that are at our disposal.
Other things to note
I am always available by text if I am not on the property.
I also have pets on the property.
- I will consider pets as long as they are friendly, house trained and are not left unattended.

I am very social and enjoy a big world view having lived and traveled extensively abroad beginning at a very young age. I am enjoying my 14th year as a public high school science teacher in Poughkeepsie, focused on educating our immigrant population. I lived on Manhattan's Upper West Side for 17 years, attended NYU, then worked in both the corporate finance and entertainment industries - diversity has been a constant thread through all aspects of my life.
I very much enjoy sharing my home and passion for the Hudson Valley with those that I meet by chance or intention.
