This is my first time experience on airbnb. Shiho is a warm-hearted host and easy to get with. She helped me a lot. So just ask her if you have questions. The Japan-style house is nice and clean. Everything is arranged in order. Even the flowers in front of the gate look lovely. What impress me most is the pleasant smell of bamboo. It helps sleeping! The community is quiet. Self-tour is simple as it is convenient to take subway. Finally, if you wanna get the experience of traditional Japanese life, don't miss this.

Dear Shiho San I am also delighted to meet you. It was the first time for me to experience an Airbnb. Before we met, I noticed that all the guests were happy of your home and host relations, and I noticed that these are the truth, realities. I certainly agree with all the previous hosts for putting a five-star in the reviews. And I agree with one of the guests who was saying "if there were something more than five-star, I would put it." Yes, I agreed and wanted to repeat it. I certainly want to come and stay in your house again. Thank you!

Shiho was a great host and we (the family of three with a small child) had a very comfortable and relaxing time. The house was kept very clean and it was great to have a clean set of towels everyday. The kitchen was well equipped and daily supplies of the teas/coffees and snacks were a lovely touch! The house is located in a lovely residential area and a convenient store and a super market were near by. The Golden Temple (Kinkaku-Ji) was only a short bus ride away and all the other sightseeing spots were also easy to get to as the house is close to a subway station and a bus terminal. I recommend you take a lovely walk by Kamo river which was only 10min away from the house. We stayed in the room with the beds and it was very spacious and comfortable. We could get in touch with Shiho via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or LINE and she was always very responsive and helpful to our needs. The stairs in the house was quite steep but Shiho was always there to help so we didn't find it too inconvenient. I highly recommend this house for your visit in Kyoto.

Shiho has such a beautiful home, it felt like a hotel. Everything is new and sparkling clean. We stayed for 3 nights. Trust your (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)maps when finding the place! The western style bedroom has a lovely tatami portion and is incredibly comfortable with good WiFi and plenty of plugs. We shared the home with Shiho and another friendly traveling couple. The washer and dryer were such a luxury to use after a week of traveling- definitely a rarity. Japanese style bath and bathroom were a pleasure to use. Just be aware it is down a steep flight of stairs from the bedroom. Bad for the lazy, but you get quickly used to it. Plenty of coffee and snacks and an easy walk to several temples and the train station. Takes 15-20 minutes to get to the part of town with more restaurants. I highly recommend this place!

Shiho was a friendly, lovely and helpful host, her home was very modern and comfortable. We had the " western beds" room (we are a couple) and it was spacious and very comfortable, bathroom very contemporary - the architecture and interior design of the home was very clean and efficient. It was very convenient to the subway (Karamaguchi station), the French bakery near the "Howdy" was outstanding, as was the stand serving sweet buns on Saturday's outside the "Howdy"!
