Double Room & private bathroom in a charming barn conversion. A welcoming, relaxed, shabby chic style home set in an enclosed courtyard in the pretty and tranquil village of Wistanstow. In Shropshire's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 8 miles from Ludlow and 6 miles from Church Stretton. One minute walk to the independent village pub with it's own brewery, serving traditional homemade meals. Short walking distance to the picturesque village hall - a popular wedding venue.

The space

Our guest room is light and airy, has a really comfortable double bed and is quiet and tranquil. We provide tea/coffee making facilities, towels, hairdryer and toiletries. The room and private bathroom for your sole use and is on its own level accessed up one flight of stairs. WiFi available throughout the house.

Guest access

We do a self-assembly breakfast on request, usually of local specialties, with local breads, fruit, jams and cereals. Guest are welcome to share our lounge and my lovely patio garden and join us in our kitchen/diner.

Interaction with guests

We are a friendly easy going couple and happy to be available to welcome you and have a chat and help with local knowledge. I am a keen cyclist and walker and happy to help with routes and planning if needed.

Other things to note

Cyclists and walkers welcome. We've a hose for washing down bikes and can securely lock the bikes away if required. I ride locally 2-3 times a week in a small ladies club and you're more than welcome to join us (but a word of caution: there are lots of hills here)

This was only our second Airbnb stay so still not sure what to expect but Janice was so welcoming and accommodating. The room and bathroom are just as described and really lovely. The fresh flowers were a lovely touch and breakfast was very much appreciated. Would certainly stay here again and can recommend to everyone. Thank you Janice!

Janice was such a welcoming host, freshly baked cake and tea at the ready on arrival. The room is very comfortable, clean and quiet . Both Janice and Jerry are very hospitable , nothing too much trouble. Enjoy the peace of the nearby church and the beautiful scenery on the doorstep!

Janice and Jeremy were great hosts! Both very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The room and bathroom is private to the rest of the house. The pub is only 2 minutes away and the local village hall is 10 at most! Perfect location for a wedding at the local village hall!
