Norbury House is close to the beautiful 'Uphill' area of Lincoln. The cathedral and castle are both just a 5 minute walk from the house.
A residents' parking permit is available to use for parking on nearby Cecil Street or Bailgate.
Our home is an ideal base for families, couples and business and solo travellers. It is located in the heart of the city, but once inside offers surprisingly peaceful home from home accomodation.
The house is a 1910 mid terraced residence, situated very close to the Roman Newport Arch. It has a cosy living room with TV and a great selection of books for you to dip into during your stay. There is an open plan dining room and kitchen, which leads into a pretty courtyard. This is a lovely place to sit in the summer months.
Upstairs are two double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and bath. On the top floor are two further single bedrooms, with a 'Jack and Jill' en suite bathroom.
Guests have access to all rooms, apart from the downstairs bedroom. We are a large family, so will keep this room to store bits and bobs to give more space in wardrobes for our guests!
Other things to note
I will leave a Parking Permit for you to use on the nearby Cecil Street for the duration of your stay. We tend to find that, once we are settled in to the house, we dont tend to use our car much. There is so much to do within easy walking distance of Norbury House.
When you arrive, it will be OK to stop your car outside with hazard lights on to unload. However, cars do need to be parked round the corner on Cecil Street.
- The house is spread over 3 floors, with the uppermost floor being accessed by fairly steep stairs. Whilst we welcome very young children, parents should be aware of this.
We live in Lincoln, so I will meet you, give you keys, show you the ropes and then leave you to enjoy your stay!

I live locally with my family, and we stay at Norbury House whenever we can. We love Lincoln and this home is so near to all of the most beautiful parts of this great city.
