Dirty, no linen or blanket, unsafe neighbourhood.

Emani and her boyfriend were really nice and helpful. Emani was extremely understanding about my late check in and was available when I showed up a lot later than expected. When I arrived, my room was clean and the linens were brand new. The apartment is pretty quiet, but surrounding neighbors play loud music deep in to the night. REALLY deep in to the night. Until around 3 or 4 am. Wasn't a problem for me because I enjoy city noise, but I can understand some people may not appreciate it. The 2 train is about a 15 minute walk, so if you're a solo traveler who stays out late (and likes to drink), you may end up spending more money on Uber than you had planned, just as a safety measure. Check out was a little last minute for my liking, but maybe that's my fault for not communicating a time before hand. Emani texted me about an hour before she wanted me to leave, asking me my checkout plans. She explained her boyfriend would be leaving around 10:45 (I was set to checkout at 11:30 since my train left at 2pm) and she didn't want the apartment to be left unlocked. I totally understood and wasn't too bothered by it, but I could have used the extra chill time or at least a heads up. I ended up leaving around 10:20. Also, before I left, the TV in the living room fell from it's stand and broke. Emani's boyfriend knocked on my room door and asked if I heard the crash. I told him I did. Then I heard him on the phone with Emani, explaining the situation, and repeatedly yelling "SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!". The conversation, especially the tone, made me really uncomfortable. I was in my room, watching a movie on the bed, so there's no way I could have made the TV fall, but I felt like I was being accused. In all, I had a decent stay.
