The apartment is very bright with a great view on the hills of Florence. It' s located in an historic building in Piazza Santo Spirito, the most characteristic and lively neighborhood: here you can find artisans, artists, flea and organic markets, cool bars. My place is a mix of antique furnitures, design pieces and curiosities found during my travels around the world: here you can find a unique, authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. It's 3rd floor with no lift
The building is from 1200 and belonged to Cosimo Ridolfi, the famous founder of Accademia dei Georgofili.
The apartment is about 70 mq with a beautiful bedroom, a sunny living room with a view, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, and a luxury bathroom.
At my place you will find a unique mix of antique and modern pieces collected all around; I have been working all my life in the design field so I have personally taken care of the interior decoration of the house, which has been totally renovated in October 2016.
I have restored the original floorings and materials of the house, I have worked with light and stronger colors, very soft lights so you will be immersed in a cozy, authentique and relaxed atmosphere... I hope you will definitely feel at home!!
The bedroom is 15 sq.m with almost 4 m height ceilings, and two windows: one that looks out onto the building stairs and a big electronic skylight.
There's a king size brand new canopy bed with a memory foam mattress, a small desk and a spacious wardrobe.
This is a real florentine apartment that I have renovated and decorated for my self, but as I am often out of Florence for business trips, I often rent it for short staying (max 1 month).
During your staying at my place you can have access to your bedroom, the living room, to the fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher) and a luxury Devon&Devon bathroom with shower and bidet at disposal.
You can enjoy relaxing on the sofa after visiting the city, loose yourself in the beautiful view of the green and soft florentine hills or enjoy
cooking spaghetti in a real italian kitchen!
I also have a great vintage bike that I will be pleased to share with my guests.
Other things to note
Please note that my apartment is not a party house and you are not allowed to invite other guests than the ones agreed in the reservation.
Please note that the municipality of Florence demands to guests to pay a city tax. This fee is 2,50 € for each person for each night: this fee is extra and it has to be paid to me by cash upon your arrival and I will make sure to pay the tax to the municipality.
Please be quite and respectful in the building areas and in the apartment all day long but specially in the evening.
Please note that I have a full time job and I am often traveling around: check-in are flexible but I need to know your arrival time at least two days in advance in order to get organized.
Please note that the apartment is in a limited traffic area: this means that you can only access the neighborhood with the car before 7,30 in the morning or 19,30 in the evening. Free parking in the neighborhood is not permitted
