We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bill's cottage. The breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for a day of walking on the moors which were in close proximity. Bill was extremely helpful In helping us to settle in, recommending places to eat and where to go for an enjoyable walk. Tavistock was less than a 10 minute drive away and was not short of great places to eat! The cottage itself had everything we needed with a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every night and a fire to snuggle up in front of. The best thing about it though was the huge bed that was the most comfortable place I have ever slept!! Thanks so much for a great weekend Bill, I wish we could have stayed for longer!!

Lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside. The place was left in perfect condition and we loved that there was tea, coffee and even some cookies waiting for us in arrival. We would recommend staying here for those wanting a quiet retreat and a hub to explore Dartmoor.

Bill made us really welcome, even when we arrived a bit early! We found the cottage really comfortable and loved the touch of having milk in the fridge so we could put the kettle straight on! The breakfast was tip top with a lovely fire to accompany the relaxed atmosphere. The area is beautiful and there are lots of lovely pubs with excellent food. We particularly enjoyed The Spaniel where the food was amazing. Thanks Bill, we would love to stay again :)

The Cottage is great, Bill contact me giving me clear and concise directions so we'd make it, due to our own schedule we missed breakfast, however Bill came and checked in on us to make sure we had settled in. The Cottage is beautiful and well maintained, I would 100% stay again! Thank you!

I have been living in Devon for about 20 years having lived lived in kent and working in a family business . Since moving here with my family we have tried to make as much use of the area as possible canoeing walking on Dartmoor surfing generally trying to be outside as much as possible.
We try to make our rooms and cottages how we would like to live in ourselves log fires comfortable beds with their own entrances so you can have you own privacy and eat in our roundhouse to meet other guests.
