Really lovely room in an apartment very close to central Edinburgh, next to the beautiful meadows. Outstanding view from the room over to the castle! Fiona is extremely welcoming and I was made to feel at home straight away.

We have to plagiarise one of our favorite film to describe our stay at Fiona's: "The star of Scotland". It was simply an wonderful dream !!! We were so happy to meet Fiona and to stay with her. Fiona a incredible helpful person and helped us to get used very quickly in Scotland. The appartment: We booked a room and we got a palace (that's why we have to plagiarise " the star of India!) and we are not exaggerating. A huge room (for two people), with very confortable beds, very clean and a fantastic view !!! She always encouraged us to use the living-room and we did … We experienced the best place to have our breakfast and afternoon tea enjoying a very royal environment !!! Lovely !!! We can not forget to mention a sensational kitchen equipped with all devices necessary to prepare the meals … and the delicious tee and hot chocolate provided by Fiona. That was our first time together in Scottland and we are sure not the last one. In a next time we will stay definitely at Fiona’s and we started to recommend strongly our friends and relatives to do the same. Fiona … thank you once more to make our stay so wonderful! Cheers Flavio & Holger

Our experience with Fiona and her apartment was great. She's a very sweet and helpful lady, gave us some good tips. The apartment is very cosy, spacious and bright, in an peaceful street and with nice views over the Meadows and the castle. The beds are royal, better than at home :) The 15-minutes walk to the Royal Mile is mostly flat, half through the beautiful park (not dark in the night) and a path with no traffic and half through very pleasant part of the city. It is close to the University, so you meet mostly young people on that way, which is also nice. After 20-minutes walk from the apartment, you can start climbing the Arthur's Seat. We would definitely recommend this place - thank you, Fiona :)
