Interaction with guests
I'm a self employed architect and work from home. I live here with my grown up son Eddie and, occasionally, his girlfriend Ellie and her (very friendly) collie dog, Max. You might also see one of my other sons Jack and Joe who both live in London but visit from time to time.
I will meet you on arrival and be very happy to spend as much (or as little) time with you as you want to make suggestions about where to go, what to see, good places to eat etc. I can also help with ongoing travel arrangements such as booking train/ bus tickets, lodgings etc if required.
I will also leave a welcome pack in your room with some ideas on interesting things to see and do in Edinburgh during your stay
Other things to note
We are on the first floor with no disabled access or lift
We have an occasional collie dog lodger (my son’s girlfriend’s dog, Max) who is very friendly but is not allowed in your bedroom.
We are as flexible as possible on check in / check out times and will always try to figure out a solution that suits all parties.
There are on-street Pay and Display parking restrictions in operation during daytime hours Monday to Friday.
•No pets and no party animals.
•Please respect the occupants of other flats by not being too noisy, particularly on the common stair when entering or leaving late at night.
•Only our guests are allowed inside the flat unless agreed with us beforehand.
•Please take your shoes off and leave them in the hall if it has been raining :)
