Mirjam's airbnb is a lovely, historic home on a canal in Utrecht. Mirjam is a lovely hostess, very accomodating and was very patient with our unplanned late arrival ! My daughter and I enjoyed all, the breakfasts in the historic cellar, the clean spacious bedroom up on the 3rd floor with a wonderful view of Utrecht. We have family who are newly moved to the Netherlands, and will be visiting often. We have found out home away from home ! Thank you Mirjam and family!

Fantastic host. Gorgeous house. Beautiful area. Stunning location. Close to everything. Breakfast in the cellar was perfect (they also offer to bring breakfast to your room, but we highly recommend eating in the cellar, beautiful experience). Thank you again Mirjam and Vincent.

What a joy it was to stay in Mirjam's home in Utrecht. We decided to stay two nights in Utrecht, after attending a wedding in s ' hertongenbosch. What a lovely surprise to meet Mirjam as we turned the corner after walking directly from Utrecht central. Our two days were filled with walking, shopping, hoping on the train to The Hague and relaxing in the canals. Mirjam mentioned hat a breakfast would accompany our stay and she was so gracious with a homemade breakfast of orange juice, pastries, eggs, fruit and coffee. Truly a treat. If you ever find yourself in Utrecht...connect with Mirjam..I recommend her airbnb with the highest of regards! Thank you Mirjam!

Not to be missed! When planning our trip to Utrecht I knew I wanted to stay in a canal house and this is absolutely perfect and hit the nail on the head. Great value for money and an absolutely beautiful house. There is a little information booklet in the room, with some history of the house which is really interesting and worth a read. Upon arrival, Vincent met us and gave us all the information we needed and answered questions we had about hiring bikes and provided us with a key to his safe storage for them. Vincent and Mirjam were excellent hosts and easy to contact should you require. Breakfast along the canal each morning was fabulous. I was worried on the first day as it was raining and we'd opted not to have it in the room based on other reviews I had read and had visions of us sitting outside getting wet but this is not the case. Mirjam opened up her beautiful cellar which is kitted out beautifully and we had a very filling and varied breakfast each morning (in the dry!) looking out over life on the canal. Other points to note that may be helpful for other travellers are that there plenty of towels, flannels, cotton buds, cotton wool pads, spare toilet rolls and a hairdryer which you don't always get at places and end up duplicating. Finally the location is ideal. This was my first trip to Holland (my husband had been to Amsterdam) and Utrecht is such a beautiful city and has a very relaxed, cool atmosphere. Life is laid back and we loved hiring bikes (only 7.5€ per person for 24h), a pedal boat and a kayak to get around and see everything Utrecht has to offer. Mirjam and Vincent's house is just a two minute walk from the Dom and main busy area so bikes are not necessary to enjoy the centre. The house is however very quiet and we heard no noise despite how close we were.

The apartment is part of a very beautiful building in the city center. Neither the location nor the apartment leave any wish unfulfilled. Mirjam an Vincent will take great care of you, they will even prepare you breakfast if you wish! They are great people and great hosts!

We had a great stay here! Everything matched and exceeded the expectations. The room is huge, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is included and can be served in the room or in the cellar on the canal. The location is central but far for the noise. Restaurants and pubs are walking distance. Mirjam and her husband were extremely precise, welcoming, kind and friendly. Two hints: if you get there by car be careful with parking, it's extremely expensive to leave the car right in front of the house. Point two: the room is on the third ploor with a steep stair, it can be tricky if you've got to carry a heavy luggage.
