My place is close to Big Cedar Lodge, a 10-15 minute easy drive to highway 76 and 65 in Branson, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of lake life. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, or business travelers. I live here and can be as transparent as possible. I will stay in the basement of the house and will only need access to the kitchen from time to time.
I purchased this home in October 2016 and have been doing some renovating as it was a little (ok - a lot) 70's style. Still working on it, but most is finished - just a little trim and paint work left in the kitchen.
The porch overlooking the lake is an AMAZING place to enjoy coffee in the morning - getting a great start to your relaxing stay!
Guests will have full run of the house except for the basement.
Interaction with guests
I work in the summer as a tour guide and during the school year as a teacher. I'm available as needed but do live in the property. When I have guests - I simply "move" to the basement if needed. I sometimes will go stay at my other property just a mile away.
- No smoking in the house, but it is fine out on the deck or outside. I live here as well. I love sharing table rock lake and the ozarks / Branson area with new friends. I also have pets - they are sometimes here or at my other lake place. I have two westies and a weimaraner.
Full blown adrenaline junkie, cliff jumper, water skier, lake rat, etc., etc... During the summer, you can find me relaxing on Table Rock Lake and serving as a tour guide Captain "B" and manager on duty at Branson's Ride the Ducks attraction on the landing and at our Highway 76 location. During the school year, I'm in the education field. I was an assistant principal at Houston Elementary School and was the technology integration specialist and public relations contact at Hallsville Public Schools. Before Hallsville, I taught broadcast journalism at Mexico High School's Hart Career Center. I taught social studies at the middle school in a computer based classroom for five years prior. I have taught some of the best kids in the state as far as I'm concerned! I have coached 8th grade football, wrestling, and the shot and discus throwers in track. I love to water ski, lift weights, and anything else that keeps me moving and active! I'm HUGE Apple computers fan and love marketing and video production. :) I also LOVE to travel where ever, when ever possible. I manage the local 24 hour fitness center and the family farm in Houston, Missouri. I moved back home after my mother broke her hips and had some health issues.
