A Cotswold stone cottage. Dog friendly, hard floors throughout. At base of Bredon Hill with fantastic walks, easy access into Cotswolds, Cheltenham (& 8 miles from Race Course), just 10 minutes from Junction 9 of M5 . A wonderful little village pub with proper ales & food just on the corner.
Comfortable, homely & welcoming.
Shared bathroom. Guest room on top floor - private.
Because the access is through the main house it isn't suitable for wedding guests coming back late at night, sorry.

The space

Friendly host, happy to show you local walks, book you in at the pub and sometimes can help with trips to station and so on

Guest access

The double room is on the top floor and has its own stairs up to it from the main landing. You can also use the kitchen diner area to have a cup of tea or coffee. Unfortunately as the access goes through the main house we normally decline requests from those going to late night events/weddings to reduce knock on disturbance to the family, neighbours & dogs.

Interaction with guests

I am always available to help and advise good places to visit and places to eat and so on. Happy to help with transport where I can.

Other things to note

I do have a really sweet dog who is very well behaved and only lives downstairs. You are welcome to bring a well behaved dog as well as there is a second area it can sleep on the ground floor.

Becky was a great communicator and her home was just lovely. We had a comfortable night's stay with the added bonus of having the house to ourselves. The good weather allowed us to have breakfast in the pretty cottage garden before taking advantage of one of the local walks nearby. A lovely part of the country!

Becky's home is absolutely charming! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, including a beautiful walk in the countryside with her dog Bronte :) Becky was an excellent, friendly host. She and Tom are welcome to visit me in Canada anytime!

Even before we walked in the door, our night in the Cotswolds was made magical with the beautiful setting and delightful home surrounded by beautiful gardens and horses in the field behind. Becky was extremely welcoming (the dog possibly slightly more!) and was full of tips for the local area which included a visit to the local pub where the food was divine! Our room was very cosy and the duvet enveloped us, along with that wonderful countryside darkness outside, in to a deep sleep. We would love to re-visit sometime soon and may well do if our house hunting takes a little longer! Thanks Becky!

I am professional lady in mid 30s. I use Air B&B quite a lot when I travel with work and have found it fantastic way to meet local people and see places that the tourists do not get to see. I love good food, beautiful villages, a cosy local pub, open fires, the great outdoors …
