Wonderful, private, quirky home with magic in the garden! Spotlessly clean and the most amazing views starting right at the bottom of the garden. Bridget was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I hope that others get to enjoy the serenity too! Kim

We loved this place and had a really, really great relaxing time at Bridget's. A beautiful, comfy, spotlessly clean cottage, in a quiet, beautiful area of Connemara. First time in Bridget's house in Ros muc, but I'm sure we'll be back! Bridget kept in touch from when the booking was first made with helpful updates and details on finding the house, and our way around the area. We had a long drive down from the north of Ireland and when we arrived were met by Bridget's mom Teresa and warmly greeted and shown round the house and even given a Welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs, etc - real Irish hospitality! If you want a place to get away or retreat from city life, re-charge your batteries, and see some of the real beauty of Connemara, then put Bridget's put on the top of your list. A lovely area, historic, but not very touristy and a great base to explore all of Connemara or beyond from. But I must say you don't really need to do a lot of the sights if you don't want, because even sitting watching the tide come in from the back garden or a dander around the lanes in the area is a real pleasure. So a real gem!

A nice place in the middle of typical Conemara environment with the see at the end of the garden. The house is nicely decorated.

Bridget's and Teresa's house in Ross Muck is unique: nestled in the Connemara Region, it offers a spectacular scenery of boundless bogland and rugged mountains. True unspoiled nature. This house is for all incredibly peaceful and quiet and thus perfect for vacationers eager to disconnect (we stayed 3 nights). It is furthermore well equipped with kitchen utensils, and boosts fresh linens and soft towels. Ophelie

There are three factors to the magic of this property: the location, the house itself, and Bridget and her Mum, Theresa! The house is situated overlooking a sea inlet, an island and the mountains. The seascape constantly changes with the tide coming and going. We sat outside looking at this on a few evenings and, on a couple of wet evenings, inside looking out through the large patio doors. You won’t need TV (though there is one) with this magnificent view – it’s magical and captivating. And best of all – it is in that part of Connemara that is the most beautiful part of Ireland! Make sure to respond when everybody you pass either says hello or waves as you pass! The house is a tastefully renovated and extended cottage – no expense has been spared in outfitting it as everything is of good quality. There are three double bedrooms, a full bathroom and a second toilet. The original cottage living-room has a fireplace (nice to light on a cool evening) and this is where the TV is. However, there is another sitting-room cum dining-room with patio doors and windows overlooking that magnificent view – this is where we spent most of our time. I can’t emphasise enough the magic of this view – you just have to see it for yourself! There are large gardens surrounding the house with lots of flowers such as lupins and roses – when you open the patio door in the morning the smell of the fragrant roses greets you. There are lots of solar powered lights spread throughout the garden which light up as night falls – these add to the magic of the fading view. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar, and has a full oven/grill and gas hob. There is a huge amount of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils – everything you need is there. There are plenty of towels supplied and the bedding is of good quality. There is ample storage and wardrobe space. Communication with Bridget is easy and she replies promptly. She and her Mum Theresa met us at the house to show us everything. Theresa brought ham, tomatoes, brown bread, butter and milk to make sure we had something to eat upon arrival. Both Bridget and her Mum are a delight to chat with and easily talk about the history of the house (Theresa grew up in it!) and about the surrounding area. Do engage with them as they (and the house) exude good ‘karma’! We have stayed in AirBnB properties all over the world and I can honestly say that this is by far the best one yet. We loved it.
