New executive house in a safe and established suburban estate. Guests have use of the residents Recreation Centre, including pool and gym, as well as our lovely private outdoor areas to soak up the sun. All modern amenities, in a clean and comfortable environment.

The space

Our house is a lovely modern and bright home with all the comforts. Large kitchen with gas hob and a separate butlers pantry, as well as an outdoor afresco dining area. We have moveable outdoor furniture, including an 8 seater table and smaller tables and umbrellas. With an adjustable sun screen and mosquito netting surrounding the deck, this area is to be enjoyed throughout the day and night.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the house, with mosquito netting on all windows and exterior doors.

The house has tiling and carpet in the bedrooms, with ample storage and access to your own lounge with a leather four seater couch and games table that doubles as a desk should you need it. You have your bathroom with separate toilet. My son's room is on the same corridor but he does not need to use any of the shared spaces as we have another bathroom and lounge.

The main bedroom has a queen bed size which can accommodate two people.

The second bedroom has a single bed and we have an extra single bed mattress to use if necessary.

Guest access

You can use the main kitchen for making tea and coffee or preparing a light breakfast. We do not provide food for guests, but you are welcome to have your own mini fridge in the shared lounge for your use. Please do not cook food in the main kitchen or in your rooms. There are many dining options in the local neighbourhood or takeouts.

Interaction with guests

As we both work full time, I will make my best efforts to be home when you check in to show you around. If I cannot be here, I will arrange for someone to give you the keys as we have many friends living in the same Estate. Interaction with guests is completely optional. I am available for chats when I am around and I am happy to provide local recommendations or assistance where I can. We are around most of the weekend, although come and go as you please.

Valerie was an excellent, friendly host. Very accommodating of a last minute change and late arrival time. The rooms were beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. Highly recommended!

A beautiful clean home with nice private facilities exactly as described. The property is about a 10-15 minute drive from the nearest restaurants. We didn't have a car but Valerie's husband recommended a good Italian restaurant and then drove us there! Fantastic hospitality!

There is a private area which includes bathroom, toilet and double bedroom. You can use their internet and their is a pool on the complex. The house is new. Only drawback is that it isn't close to shops and the nearest restaurant is at Hope Island.

Response from Valerie:
Thanks for the feedback. We are very close to the Boat Works complex and Gold Coast City Marina. There are places to eat at Oxenford and there is the Galley at the Boat Works. Otherwise construction has started on the new Westfield Mall in Coomera, which will be a good thing.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Super friendly hosts and dog named Princess. They were so kind to us. We tried Milo and they also lent us body boards (boogie boards?) for Gold Coast where we can lie down on the boards and ride the waves. The house was so clean, quiet, and spacious. Towels were provided. They have parking space too. Overall it was the hosts that really made this experience amazing. They were above and beyond and I wish we could've said a proper goodbye. Thank you guys!

My husband and I and our young son have relocated from New Zealand recently to the Gold Coast. Originally from Mauritius and France, I am still fluent in French. We are very outdoorsy people, enjoying paddle boarding, hiking, and fishing. Having recently included a little staffy …
