Enjoy Hippy Chic at its best in the Caminito Caravan - fitted with a wood burner and plenty of character. You’ll love it because of the views, and the ambiance. This rustic place offers wonderful panoramic views in a tranquil setting. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, writers. For the busy ones, a true retreat.

The space

Set in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the place is remote, uniquely beautiful with fantastic views to the sea, Scarborough Castle, walks, bike rides, etc. Scarborough is a beautiful town surrounded by stunning nature. Cleveland Way coast path and the cinder track cycle route are only a couple of miles away. Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and Scarborough are a short drive away. A breath of fresh sea air, access to rocky coves and beaches.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the spacious grounds, and private parking.

Interaction with guests

I will be able to provide guests with info and advice on where to go if need be.

Other things to note

If you bring a pet, you must keep him with you at all times, as the place has no boundaries and there is cattle around.

Claudia is very friendly & welcoming with a sunny glow her Argentinian roots have blessed her with. The caravan is in a seclude spot surrounded by trees. you can hear the rain on the roof, you can hear the leaves rustle all around. Claudia is very doggy friendly too!

Our stay here was fantastic. Wonderful host and absolutely loved the caravan. The bed could not have been more comfortable. Situated in an idyllic place, can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much.

Thank you Lin :-) you are most welcome :-) I stayed in the caravan last Xmas with the burner, and woke up to the embers to cook porridge for breakfast - RECOMMEND :-) xc

Claudia's charming little caravan was just what my partner and I were looking for to spend a relaxing few days for our anniversary. The location is beautiful - close to a few small villages as well as Whitby and Scarbrough but the property feels much more secluded and private than being a few minutes away from everything you might need so you get a real feeling of being away from it all, whilst having the conveniance of being a few moments drive from supermarkets etc. Claudia was the perfect host - always on hand to be a help if needed but otherwise left us to hide away in the caravan which is very cosy especially the massive bed! There is a fridge with water and milk provided, as well as tea and coffee facilities. Access is provided to the main house to use the shower whilst somebody is home. We did have an issue with the caravan toilet (though still had access to another so it wasn't too much of a problem) which was fixed asap and Claudia also kindly offered us an extra night to make it up to us. We were very sad to have to decline due to having to get home but the offer was much appriciated! The resident dog and cat are very friendly too and were great company during our stay :) All around exactly what we look for whilst using airbnb over other accomodation options. Thank you Claudia!

We absolutely enjoyed every second we was there. We would do it in a heart beat again we would recommend to anyone and are already planning a second visit !! Everything was perfect to the huge bed to the log burner being pet friendly and having everything in a 20 min car journey. I am 7 months pregnant and couldn't have been more comfortable there. Beautiful setting lovely people couldn't have asked for more !!!

Caminito is a perfectly equipped little caravan on a secluded farm road - easy enough to access but very quiet and with excellent views of the sunset over farmland. Claudia is a wonderful host, and makes being in the caravan very easy. With it's fridge and tea/coffee facilities, and the shower in the main Stables building it had everything we needed for a few days exploring North Yorkshire. I would recommend bikes/car to get around.

I spent two nights at Claudia's caravan, and it's the coziest! Claudia and her family were so welcoming right from the start; they were having a BBQ, offered me some dinner, and we ended up spending most of the evening together playing games. The caravan is quite small, but it has a mini fridge and comes stocked with instant coffee/tea/sugar/cereal/hot water/drinking water and a fireplace. Also, resident dog Coco is the sweetest little thing – he spent a couple rainy hours snuggling in my bed while I read. The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful; if you wander up the road to Ripley's Farm, a couple of the friendly horses might just let you pet them. The house is a bit tricky to find, but that's part of the adventure! On the way there I took a taxi from Scarborough which cost about £16, on the way back I walked ~1.5 miles to the Max X93 bus stop at Tidds Corner (which I was quite pleased to discover does run on Sundays). I will say you need to pay attention when walking on the narrow windy roads, however – people take those corners quickly and aren't exactly expecting pedestrians. Overall, I would definitely recommend and return!

It was a sweet lil caravan and the location was great for where we wanted to go and visit. But I think it was a lot of money for what it was. The caravan had a musky smell to it and could do with a good clean and dust. Think if it hadn't been so much money a night when we went I would of been happy but was a lot for very basic fascilities needed freshening up. The lil dog was cute tho. And location was nice and left in peace and to enjoy your own time. Kids were quite noisy though.
