My place is close to Ikema island, the Yukishio Museum, the mangrove park, the Miyakojima Kaichu park, 17-minute drive to Sunayama beach, 26-minute drive to Miyako airport. . My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
Miyakojima is a hotspot for cyclists, divers, kayakers, and beach-goers. My house is the perfect setting for this.

The space

I built everything out of reclaimed wood with the beach theme in mind. It's a cool little house.

Guest access

The whole house, wifi, tv, and everything needed to cook, shower, etc.
I can drive my guests from the airport to a rental car place and then escort them to the house.

Interaction with guests

As much as needed, I'm super duper friendly.

Other things to note

I can drive you to the house, or a car rental place, and then escort you to the house. I also have a couple of bicycles I can lend you if needed

I built everything myself, so as long as nothing gets broken, it's all good. And smoking is really not cool, so please don't do it inside or out near the house. Trash should be properly separated as indicated on the bins. Any damage to the house/breaking of the rules will incur in a bad review and compensation will be required.

It’s a rustic shack in a very quiet neighbourhood outside of the city. Perfect for people who like to take the road less traveled. Alex was a great host, very responsive and friendly.

Very good place to get away from the hustle and bustle n of life. It is not centrally located, but Miyako isn't a very big place so everything is within 20 min drive. The neighbors are wonderful people

That’s a really sweet house that can make you feel relax and comfortable. The hammock is awesome I can lie on there all day hahah.all the colors and decorates are nice. And the location is also good, pretty quiet here and not far from the beach and foods. I can tell it’s not only a house made by hand and also made by heart ❤️ Thank you so much Alex Don’t stay there all days and miss the awesome views in Miyakojima hahaha!

Alex put a lot of effort into his cozy house. The interior is nicely arranged and everything is clean. But remember: Always keep the doors and windows shut. I really recommend this place!

Alex's place has all you need for a short stay on Miyakojima. We liked the beach house vibe and appreciated all the work he had put into it. He's a very attentive host and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. The location may not be in the centre of town but Karimata is an interesting old neighbourhood that you wouldn't normally get to see. Close to Ikema island, the Yuki Shio factory and nishi hennazaki which is a great place to see the sunrise!
