Come stay with a young Spinster (/late-twenties Gypsy soul) -who loves nothing more than to keep the travelers of the word safe, dry, comforted - with hospitality, charm, whimsy, and plentiful treats. 2 Private rooms for up to 3 guests at a time. Stay briefly, or settle in for an extended stay. We are a 10 minute walk to the Porter Square T station: the Red Line. Bars, restaurants & shopping abound. As indicated, I make an excellent scone. I love to cook what my guests like to eat; just ask. Happy to entertain, or leave you be, as you like.
It's a charming, pretty, old Bostonian house. It almost feels like it was meant to be a boarding house. There are lots of windows for the light to stream in..... the walls are paneled in white or dark stained wood..... the furniture is vintage/quaint..... our decorations are classic, once-upon-a-time American.... with a healthy smattering of world and global city maps. :) It's just a naturally inviting and comfortable little space.
Shared, spacious bathroom, shared kitchen and dining room. You're welcome to relax in the living room/watch movies/read from our book collections/play board games.... we also have a little pocket window room where we grow herbs.... feel free to have some Reflexion time there if it pleases you. :P
Interaction with guests
As you like! I'm home and like to entertain; share stories, give recommendations around the neighborhood, feed you dinner after a long day of tourism or work. :) But I will also happily leave you be, as it suits you.
Other things to note
I'm a hotel professional.... My degree is in Hotel Management and I've worked for Hilton for 6 years..... I also have a passion for baking and cooking for a crowd. I'll always have a pot on the stove that you're welcome to help yourself to. If you have a craving or request, don't be shy!
Ummmm..... Please don't steal from me? Be sweet, & be yourself.
