I had a lovely stay at this appartment! It's on the 4th floor, so you have to climb a few stairs, but it's worth it. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. I only met Nina when I checked in, but she was very friendly and answered all my questions. During my stay we stayed in touch via text messages. I stayed in Essen to visit Zollverein (10 mins by car) and the Landshaftspark (20 mins), so i did not have time to check out the neighbourhood, but there's a small supermarket nearby, and for take-out meals I reccommend the italian restaurant next to the supermarket.

Nina's accommodation is private, comfortable, well supplied, and very, very clean. Access and communication with her was easy (she lives in the same building). It is just a few blocks' walk, on the quiet side, from the train station. There are many TV choices - movies and news (including in English). It is 4 1/2 flights up. I fell in love with her coffee machine. I would gladly stay there again.

Nina's AirBnB is an awesome place to stay to explore Essen. Everything is as on the pictures and clean, with shopping possibilities around the corner. A very nice feature is a little guide for the neighborhood including nice cafes which was prepared. I can only recommend Nina's place.

We love to travel but also love the feeling of being home away from home. We are quiet uncomplicated and open minded and appreciate clean and simple homes.
