Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a sitting room all to yourself! Spread out and enjoy. Cheaper than a hotel, more spacious and sustainable.
The entire second floor. Guests enter through our living space on the first floor and travel up the stairs to their space.
Interaction with guests
As new hosts, Joe and/or I will be home throughout guests' stay to help when needed as we learn what is needed.
Other things to note
Journey, our loving dog, does roam freely in the house. She has not yet visited guests upstairs without us going up too, but she could because the space is not separated by a door. She is the best snuggler!
To live with integrity in an unjust society we must work for justice. To walk with integrity through a landscape strewn with beer cans, we must stop and pick them up. - Starhawk

Hi! Joe, Journey and I moved to northern Michigan to build community, start our family, and find ways to live more gently on the earth. Sharing our home with you is part of our mission.
Journey (our dog) epitomizes our faith in the universe. On the last day of a 700-mile bike trip across Wisconsin, I found $441 on the side of the road. I called 911 to turn in the cash. I agreed to meet the policeman at Tractor Supply Store. It happened to be dog adoption day and I immediately fell in love with the only puppy there that would fit in my pannier (bike bag). I turned in the money and left with little Journey. You will get to meet this special pup when you stay with us.
