Edwardian 2 storeyed villa set in beautiful private garden.
Our home borders on Pukekura Park, is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre, coastal walkway, Govett Brewster Art Gallery, Library and Museum complex.
Guests can use the swimming pool during the season.
Interaction with guests
We have hosted many times, through the Wwoofing and Warmshower sites, so are knowledgeable about what the district has to offer, and are very willing to assist with any queries and suggestions of what to do in the area.
Other things to note
Our home is an old house (1905) and is best for guests wanting a more interesting atmosphere to stay in. We have pets, 2 cats and 1 dog, so our home is not really suited to people with allergies to animals. Bathrooms are shared and there are no ensuite bathrooms. Continental breakfast provided. Both bedrooms have a double bed in each room, and are suitable for couples. If you are two single people wanting a room each, you will have to book the two bedrooms.
I am a retired art teacher, specialising in photography. I am also a very keen equestrian, competing in all disciplines.
