Wagtails is a contemporary and comfortable home set in the heart of the village of Horsmonden in Kent. There are great walks on your doorstep, historic houses such as Sissinghurst, Scotney Castle and Batemans within easy reach. Outdoor pursuits to enjoy at Bewl Water and Bedgebury National Pinetum as well as the historic towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tenterden for shopping and eating. I hope you will come and see for yourself!
Wagtails is a 1980s home which has been completely modernised giving guests contemporary, comfortable, clean and cosy accommodation. In less than a 5 minute walk you can access our award winning village shop "The Heath Stores" and our local pub "The Gun and Spitroast".
The Saffron bedroom has a King size bed accommodating a maximum of two people. If you need additional beds please see my other listings which need to be booked separately if required.
A help yourself breakfast will be available in the dining room offering toast, cereal, fresh fruit, tea and coffee.
Drinks can also be prepared in the bedrooms.
The "Saffron" bedroom has a calm and relaxing ambience, it is North facing, overlooking the road. There is a stylish en suite with a good sized shower enclosure and powerful aqualisa shower. The en suite has a washbasin with ample shelving for toiletries, a heated towel rail and at night there is plinth lighting.
The dining room is also available in the evening should you wish to work at the table or eat a take away dinner, you will not be disturbed.
Other rooms at Wagtails may be booked out to other guests during your stay which would mean that there may be some interaction with other guests in the dining room if breakfasts are taken at the same time.

Wagtails is a family home and my goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable on arrival.
I am very happy to answer any questions and chat but will respect your privacy.
I have a dog and am happy to accommodate an extra dog to stay in my utility room for a surcharge of £5 per night, please let me know in advance if you are planning to bring a dog.
The back garden is a reasonable size and can be used with care but is still awaiting it's makeover!
Other things to note
There is fibre optic broadband available.
For high broadband use and data downloading the bedroom and dining room have cat 5 ethernet sockets (cable can be supplied on request!)
Mobile phone reception in the house fluctuates - the home phone can be used to make UK and mobile calls if you need.
- If you require a different check-in time please advise at the time of booking to see if it is feasible.
- Well behaved dogs may stay in the utility room for a surcharge of £5 per night. Please let me know in advance if you are planning to bring your dog.
- This room accommodates a maximum of 2 people.
- Noise after 11pm should be kept to a minimum.
