The house is very beautiful and big, with lots of light. The facilities worked well enough and the beds where pleasant, and something to look forward to after a long day of exploring. It's located near the Edinburgh town centre, however its not easy to find and the host did not help us when we where in search for almost an hour, she would not pick up the phone to call back or message back. She would only contact back a day later. When you need to book various other things or need to book something in 24hr I do not think it would be advisable to book with her. When running an Airbnb the host should be very alert with messages and phone calls, so you can respond any questions the guest has in a timely fashion.

Response from Denise:
I explained to Vera that the day she was trying to book, was an exceptional day, because we were travelling and my phone did not work all the time. I expected more understanding. Many other people have booked on the same day with me.

Good location for Holyrood park and easy to access the city centre without being in the thick of the action. Big open space with high ceilings so wouldn't feel claustrophobic with a few people (there were 4 of us) Every taxi driver or takeaway delivery struggled to find the property even with directions and instructions which became a bit tedious. Thorough communication from host even if there were a few rules/things to bear in mind when staying in the property

Response from Denise:
The tree that could be used at Christmas i use it for decoration. We have to give very detailed instructions to taxi drivers about the house number 127 Milton Road West, and the number in the Courtyard 7, Duddingston House Courtyard and about the golf course and the lane otherwise it's not written on the maps they use. I give a lot of instructions by e mail in order to avoid accidents the same instructions are written on the cards in the kitchen. I am pleased you enjoyed it. Denise
