This lovely home has stunning panoramic views; it was built in 2012 as a full-season home with heaters & overhead fans. There is an eagles' nest nearby; watch them fly over Taunton Bay. Seals, osprey, fox, deer, mink, & heron provide entertainment in a very quiet, private & tranquil setting. Watch the tides and relax in comfort. Here is what our guests have rated us: 6/12/17 Paul F. Other things to note
Since you will arrive in the late afternoon or evening, check our local weather to see which days are best for Acadia National Park; there is so much to do there it takes at least a day to enjoy it. You will want another 1/2 day to shop in Bar Harbor & maybe take a boat ride or walk the bar; plan on another 1/2 day to see Schoodic Point! We provide directions & local info in the manual at our house.
- No Smoking anywhere on property, inside or outside
As hosts, we are an active senior couple who love to share our summer home in Maine with you.
As guests, we love to travel, especially in Europe. So far we have been to London, Paris 3 times, Normandy, Brittany, Brussels, Prague, western Ireland, Norway, Vienna, Munich, Venice and Florence. We prefer renting an apt to relax in the evening after a busy day walking through the town, going to museums & galleries and eating interesting food. We like to stay in one place and explore each town so we plan all our trips ourselves; we are probably more adventurous than people who would use a group tour. Thank you for renting your apt; we will leave it clean and in excellent condition.
