Our place is Downtown, in vibrant Mexican city, close to art and culture. It has amazing views, delicious restaurants, dining and bars and one of the best beaches. You’ll love my place because of the location, the views, the modern design. My place is good for couples and families (with kids), and of course furry friends (pets). We designed this house for our family and are eager to share it with yours.

The space

Casita Bolivia is a newly built, open concept 4 level house. You have the entire house to yourself, no condo feeling or shared common areas, just good vibes and great views.

Designed for a family in mind, this spacious house has a great terraza with pergola located on the top floor, perfect for watching the sunsets and all the action of Banderas Bay while enjoying a cold Corona. Nightly fireworks displays from the hotel zone, the local pirate ship and resorts all the way out to the north tip of the bay. You and your guests will enjoy the sounds of the church bells from your respective bedroom balconies or catch a glimpse of the whales during the season.

Casita Bolivia is unique in that it is completely open concept with a modern minimalist design (no doors dividing spaces) providing a great flow and airy floor plan. It boasts two full floor bedrooms, two large 3 piece bathrooms, open concept stainless steel L-shape kitchen with top of the line appliances, concrete floors, exposed brick and beams that lead into the entertaining space giving off an industrial yet inviting feel.

The cozy living room on the first level is equipped with Cable TV on a large flat screen, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, Apple TV and Netflix making this the ideal kid / teen hangout. Air conditioning on each floor, floor to ceiling windows and beautiful glass and wood accents in every space.

The entire 3rd floor makes up the relaxing Master bedroom, featuring a king bed, modern bathroom with glass shower enclosure, low flush toilet and rain shower head. The Guest bedroom, makes up the entire 2nd floor with an identical design, offering 2 double beds, perfect for extended family or the kids. Casita Bolivia sleeps 4-6 people with an additional queen sized high quality air mattress.

The full size Maytag washer and dryer provide private, convenient access to laundry. There is maid service once per week included in the rent.

Siobhan's house is a great modern place with open floor plan, and amazing views of the city and bay! It was perfect for us, nine days, two moms and their 15-year old boys. The neighborhood is safe to walk around, the house located a bit uphill in old town with cobble stones and local families as neighbors. We loved the house so much that we stayed an additional night. Upon arrival at tge airport, we took a lical yellow taxi, which was only around 180 pesos. At the house we were greated by Angel from the property management company, who walked us through the house and wifi system, and had two sets of keys for us. Everything was easy and we had a memorable time in Puerto Vallarta. We hit the monsoon season with heavy tropical rains in evenings, and enjoyed watching the spectacular thunderstorm and lightning from the decks. One mishap: the roof started to leak and we had to put out buckets on the top floor. But Siobhan immediately offered us a free night as compensation and notified property nanagement to fix the roof. The house was cleaned mid-week, which was nice. Property management fixed a plugged toilet within hours. We may return in the future, and we are definitely recommending this AirBnB, especially to guests who like to stay in an authentic old town, love modern architecture, and may not look for much privacy in a vacation home. -Maren

The house: -Excellent location and very walkable to restaurants, the boardwalk and the nightlife (but be aware that the house is on a pretty big hill!). -Very clean and well maintained -Felt safe in the neighborhood -The power went out one night in the house and the surrounding neighborhood. The power was on and off throughout the night, but the AC did not work when the power came back on which meant sleeping was difficult on the Mexican summer. This was only for one night and definitely an exception to our stay. The host: -Friendly and very fast responder. -Very helpful and concerned when the power issue occurred -Easy to deal with :)

Such a comfortable house! And the views were simply amazing...Every time I walked into the master bedroom or the upstairs kitchen, the view made me smile - EVERY time! Air conditioning on every floor was such a great touch...although often we didn't need to use it - The floor-to-ceiling sliding doors on the top three floors really let the Pacific breezes flow through. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants a slice of life in Puerto Vallarta (Viejo Vallarta)...Again, the VIEW! Siobhan was supremely helpful with sights to see, dining tips, and transportation information - a truly accommodating host! Thanks for a wonderful stay...:))

The view is amazing!!! You can see the fire works every night and see hump back whales every morning when it's the season. We had some issues at the house but Siobhan's responds was speedy and he took care of the issues right away. I would recommend this for families with children that can walk and fend for them selves. Our child was to young for the home and hiking up the hill with a stroller everyday was not fun, but I can honestly say I wouldn't mind coming back and staying again because the view was everything!

Super cute place, close to everything! It's uphill, so there is a bit of a walk to get up or down (unless to take a taxi). We loved it, and would definitely stay here again!
