Thank you for great tips and warm hospitality! The only thing that could be improved is WiFi connection since it is barely working in the room.

Response from David:
Thank you for letting me know. I will see what I can do to boost the signal, but the connection to wifi depends on the signal of both devices. It maybe that your device has a weak antenna.

Ended up snagging David's place for a weekend of baseball with a buddy of mine. The vicinity to the stadium was amazing! You can actually see part of the stadium from the back deck and hear the loud speaker as well. It's literally a block walk to the entrance and we couldn't have asked for more! If you're not planning on going to the games and are primarily looking to do some sightseeing, there are probably some better areas a bit closer to downtown. That said, the Metro is an easy walk and a quick way to get around so if you'd like to save some money and stay off the beaten path a little, this could work well. This part of DC seems to be under construction and growing quite a bit. After the games we managed to find a couple restaurants/bars close by which meant we didn't have to venture too far. If you're looking for more upbeat nightlife and a lot of people, you're probably better off heading into downtown but, again, David's place was perfect for us. Thanks a bunch David! I'll be sure to stay here again if I'm back up for a game sometime soon. Cheers!

I spend most of my free time climbing during the week. I also have season ticket to the Washington Nationals in section 113, and enjoy combining a day at the park with BBQ and friends.

I speak Spanish and enjoy traveling whenever I can.
