This Victorian charmer is an easy 4 block walk to Downtown and Colorado College. Walk 2 houses down and you can stroll through walking/jogging paths in Shook Run Park. Downtown boasts great restaurants and night life. Our one bedroom apartment is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. It is not large; however, it is in a darling neighborhood close to many of the best site seeing locations, hiking, mountain biking, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peaks, CC and much more!

The space

Access this apartment from the front porch common entrance and proceed up the stairs to unit #3. You will have the entire 1 bedroom apartment including kitchen, living area, dining table & bedroom and bathroom with shower. There are 2 closets for you to use. The shower and bathroom are a bit small and best suited for shorter people!

Guest access

You may park your car right out front of the unit but not in front of the house to the right when standing outside in front of the house. You gain access to the property with keyless entry to common entry front door and combination lockbox to this unit (#3) that we will provide upon booking.

Interaction with guests

I, Scott, have am available to answer questions by text messaging or phone. I have lived in Colorado Springs for nearly 30 years.

Other things to note

The bathroom and shower are small and best suited for people 5'10" and shorter. Power up the TV with the TCL/Roku remote. Then use that remote to scroll left to the on screen TV menu. Then scroll down to Home. At the home screen scroll right to HDMI 1. That is where the cable channels are located. If it is not live and there is an error message then the cable box was either powered off or it is in sleep mode. Simply press the small black power button on the top of the cable box to turn it back on. A blue light should be on. Once the cable is on you can control the channels and volume with the Xfinity Comcast remote. It even has a DVR function and you can search by using the guide or voice search by pressing the microphone button on the remote.

Such a great place! A very cute apartment to stay for a few days. Has everything you may need and definitely feels like a home away from home!

The place was clean, bed comfortable and the location perfect for us. Didn't notice the review about the bathroom from the guy who is six feet two inches. Oops. My boyfriend is six feet five inches and looked like a giant in the bathroom. He only hit his head three times going in and out before he learned to duck : )

This cute one-bedroom is perfectly located as a base for exploring Colorado Springs. We drove downtown, but one could easily walk. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, and we were able to get on-street parking right in front of the house each night. The kitchen is substantial enough that we were able to cook a few meals in during our stay. We were extra pleased at the comfiness of the bed (travelling and having a crummy bed is the worse!), complete with a memory foam top. If we find ourselves in Colorado Springs again, you can bet we'll be looking to stay at Scott and Marlene's place!

Scott and Marlene's place was the perfect place for us to stay in Colorado Springs! Very central, it was easy to get to many of the downtown bars and restaurants as well as about 15 to 20 minutes to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The hosts communicated very well and made sure to check up with us when we got settled in.

My wife (Marlene) and I have 2 adult daughters, one in Colordo and the other living in Australia. We love the Rocky Mountains, our friends and family, traveling and our dogs. We recently moved from Texas after living on the gulf back to Colorado Springs. We enjoy hiking, snow ski…
