Great location, 30 minute walk from Jaffa Gate old city. Quiet neighbourhood and very clean area. Promenade is a 5 minute walk away with beautiful overlook of old city Jerusalem. Interior is fairly clean, nice and spacious kitchen/dining-room/ bedroom for 2 people. 3 max with the…

This place is very good for a short stay. My situation was not typical, because I live in Jerusalem and the place did not have a place to put my computer or live my life. Also the sewage system is bad and the kitchen sink did not drain well. Also, I was asked to play for clean…

Thank you so much Idan! My mother had a great time staying in your apartment, it was exactly the way you described it. She also really enjoyed the location.

A nice place, but not recommended for a long term stay. This place is good for a few days- the location is great, all the basic necessities are there, and Idan and her mother are very nice and responsive. Long-term, a few things weren't great: The rent is not economical compared …

In many places around the world including israel it is customed not to throw paper in the toilet. The sewage system in this apartment is delicate so I specifically requested upon arrival not to throw anything down the toilet. There is a note in the toilet to remind people that are not accustomed to it. Unfortunatly you didn’t follow the house rules and the toilet got clogged. This probably explained the scent you mentioned in the downstairs room. We have had many people staying with us and they never complained about this basic house rule. We have made an effort to attend to all of your needs and even provided a succa upon request. We hope that overall you had a pleasant stay in our apartment and are welcome to come back at any time. All the best. Idan

Idan's apartment is fine and well located and worked out quite well for me. The cautions I would mention are that the kitchen is fine if you're not expecting kosher. If you do want kosher, I suggest you confirm with Idan that she can provide that and fully stock it. Also, while t…

Hi Deborah! Thanks for the feedback, i wish you would have told me you need more kitchen utensils i would have been happy to provide them, as i mentioned more than once i do my best to make sure you have what you need. I have already equipped the kitchen with more things in order to better accommodate our guests as a result of your feedback. Regarding the neighbor he lives abroad all year and usually its very quiet, twice a year he comes to visit and holds an event to support lone soldiers and young people that their families live abroad. its not the most convenient evening for us because of the noise but it only happens twice a year. I'm sorry you happened to stay in the apartment during one of these evenings. Thanks for staying with us and we hope you choose to come back if ever needed.
