This apartment is worth every penny: walking distance to attractions, quiet square off the main streets, great food at every turn, host with excellent communication skills. There are taxi stands nearby and it's also close to major bus lines - but we walked to most places. The air conditioning worked great and the kitchen was well equipped with glassware, plates, etc - we made a couple of meals in. There is a supermarket around the corner, and it's about 8 minutes walk to a daily produce market at Camp di Fiori.... Lots of small specialty shops and bakeries (as well as bars, cafes, and restaurants) within walking distance. The small elevator was helpful for baggage, and we occasionally would use it after a long day of exploring Rome. We have two teens: ages 13 and 16 - they enjoyed having their own room for a change on this trip. Finally, I just have to say that this place is very nicely decorated without being over-done - it's a comfortable place to sit on the couch, have a dinner or snack, and rest up for your next adventure... We highly recommend Agnes's place for Rome!

Agnes was a wonderful host. We had a concern the first day with water pressure and they immediately took care of it. Great location, very roomy with nice furnishings. Loved our stay! Highly recommended!

Agnes was a very attentive and polite host. She addressed our minor concerns quickly and with grace. The home is lovely, spacious with all the amenities one needs ( especially ACs in the Roman summer! ) and a location that is truly wonderful. Despite being only steps from Largo Argentina and the Pantheon, the little piazza in which it is situated feels like a quaint Roman quarter of old. I would definitely recommend this home!

This is a beautiful spacious apartment in the Center of Rome. It is within easy walking distance of an astonishing array of sites from the Villa Borghese to the Colosseum to the Vatican. I can't overstate how convenient it was to get to the major sites. Agnes was a responsive host and gave us a great introduction to the apartment and neighborhood. We enjoyed the small kitchen as it enabled us to keep some snacks and coffee at the apartment; there is a market around the corner. Each room has a powerful air conditioner, and we had no trouble cooling our bedrooms for sleeping in the middle of summer. There was a bit of street noise, but nothing out of the ordinary for a busy city and less than on most streets. Our only complaint is that the hot water in the second bathroom shower was inconsistent. It was fine in the other bathroom. We would very happily stay here again!

There may be places that equal Agnes's apartment in Rome, but none that surpass it. We're a family of four (kids aged ten and twelve) and one adult friend who stayed in this beautiful apartment for nine days this month. We not only enjoyed the quality and comfort of the apartment, but benefited greatly from the attentiveness, communication, and charm of our hostess, Agnes. The first indication of her hospitality was the ease of her arrangement for our pick up from the airport. The driver met us just outside of customs, helped us with our bags, and coordinated the timing of meeting her at the apartment. This is the fourth apartment we have rented in Rome, over the years, and the easiest airport transfer ever. The apartment is as pictured, but even more charming and comfy. The AC worked a treat, as it was stinking hot the whole time we were there. The clothes washing machine washed clothes, and it was handy to have the two bathrooms for the five of us. While the apartment is on the third floor above street level, the stairs are wide and easy, and there is a small elevator when you have luggage. The apartment is located in a mostly quiet, small piazza just 3 minutes walk from the Pantheon. Mostly quiet, because there is no way to avoid the early morning garbage truck noise in Rome. So, this apartment is no different in that regard from any other. Other than that, it is a very quiet place with a small bar for your coffee and cornetti in the morning and a typical ristorante for the evening - both just outside the front door. We breakfasted in the bar every morning, becoming locals on our second day, with the proprietress, Caudia, knowing our names and remembering our orders. Wonderful sandwiches and pastas around lunchtime, too, if you pop back to the apartment from your sightseeing. There is a grocery store, Carrefour Express, two minutes walk away, to stock up the reasonably sized fridge with necessary snacks and drinks. Just past the store is Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle for catching buses or flagging taxis. The towels, bedding, and kitchen items were all good quality, and the beds and furniture was comfortable. There is plenty of closet space as well as iron, ironing board, broom, etc. As we had an extended stay we used all of the above to keep the place tidy. Also, Agnes has the kitchen stocked with basic condiments if you do some of your own cooking (why???). This place is a gem.
