A little piece of Country in town, location in University Heights. One of the better areas of Springfield near Bass Pro Shop, 6.8 miles from the airport, 1.0 mi from Mercy Hospital. University Plaza Convention Center, Tower Club,MSU, OTC, Evangel University, Assemblies Of God World Headquarters, Drury University,Springfield Art Museum,The Historic Gilloiz Theater. Just 2 miles to downtown Springfield dining, shopping, theaters and nightclubs.

The space
This home was built in 1920, so it has all the charm of an old house and some quirkiness that people like about Airbnb. Don’t be to critical please!I I’m doing some renovations on occasion, but nothing to major, just painting mostly. .central air blows hard in this room, very warm in winter and cool in the summer. Cieling fan is very strong and quiet. The mattress is new and it’s really firm. The wood floor is unfinished, I pulled the carpet out, so it looks little rough, but it is clean. There's a deck out back to relax with a glass of wine, or if you want to smoke. A fire pit out back and a pile of wood, Cat Therapy, I have 5 cats! enjoy the church bells that ring at the top of the hour from the church across the street. Very quiet homey place to get a good night sleep. And a great value.traveling Medical Pro’s love it here.

I’ve lived in Springfield since 1995, originally from North San Diego County. An empty nester. And Mom to 5 cats. I really am enjoying this Hospitality business. When I was younger I alway wanted to one day have a Bed and Breakfast in an big old house, and because of this app boom I'm living my dream and so happy and thankful. Most of my guests are repeats which says a lot. I’ve made a few lifelong friends by doing this and honestly you can’t put a price on that. Ps please don’t book my old home if you don’t like old houses, and if you’re offended by a Missouri For Trump Flag! Also this property is strictly for travelers only, NO LOCALS ALLOWED!

During your stay

I'm usually here and accessible, but pretty much keep to myself. I do cook quite a bit, and usually offer to share. I'm good at recommending things to do. Like shows, festivals wineries, shopping etc. message me anytime.
