Fantastic place to stay!! Dogs love the trails, but my dog had to search a little harder to find a clearing to do her business... just gave us more time exploring. The lookout nearby was an added bonus!! The old tennis courts served as an impromptu dog park to run off leash. Short story.. we forgot to get tin foil while we were out getting groceries. Bob had stocked the kitchen so well that we had some! The grill was not as clean as mine at home, but it was easily put to use. The horse shoe pit and fire ring made for a great dinner setting. Bring your own camp chairs unless you want to sit on benches. The automatic lights outside made getting around after dark easy. We saw a bear on our drive out in the morning!

The kitchen had high quality knives - a true rarity in rental housing. The hot tub is fantastic, secluded, and near a fire pit which is great. However, I'm actually surprised at how highly rated the place is. Issues for us were: there is very little privacy in this place. The bedrooms with the queen and double beds have walls that do not reach to the ceiling, with a bathroom in between, and the common space on another side. That means that anyone hanging out in the common space will have their conversation heard in both bedrooms, and every nighttime trip to the bathroom will be heard by all. The listing description inaccurately indicated 10 could sleep here, and indicated there were two beds that did not exist. I have communicated with the owner, and I'm sure that will be fixed. There was also a very aggressive mouse that chewed up a handmade pillow at night in the room my children were sleeping in. I think we were all surprised a mouse would approach something new with people nearby. Finally, this property is located inside a private community. An electronic passcard must be used to enter. We had two groups in our party, and this ended up being rather inconvenient. It should be spelled out in the main ad for the house. The host was exceptionally kind and seems to want to fix all issues. I think our stay would have been a lot better if we had known about the issues beforehand.

We loved staying at the Cabin! It was a perfect get away with friends. Communication was easy, the place is secluded in the woods, the hot tub and games were so much fun. Highly recommend.

What a well equipped cabin. The kitchen was in top working order, and along with two grills, provided an abundance of options for cooking. The fire pit is awesome, there is a horseshoe pit, clean hot tub, and superb movie collection. We were a little nervous about our first vacation with a mobile 11 month old, but the cabin was great for him. It was easy to let him explore about, and he loved all of the hiding places in the wooden furniture. The cabin felt a little big at first for the three of us, but not too big. We were at home in short order.
