Three-story, historic house built in 1890 in a quiet, residential area.
Your room is on the third-floor. There is a small, sunlit breakfast nook where you can enjoy some tea with your breakfast. The study area is a peaceful place for work. You will also have your own spacious bathroom with tub.
Your queen size futon bed folds up into a couch for relaxing while watching the Internet enabled TV.
Please note there are two flights of stairs to access your private. Parking is on the street in front of the house. We are very close to the train station; it is only a five minute walk. The Septa Paoli/Thorndale train is two stops from Philadelphia.
In the warm weather, there is a small, private garden off the main kitchen that you are welcome to use.
Other things to note
One of us works from home so there will usually be someone around to welcome you.
We will respect your privacy. We are friendly, sociable people and would enjoy sharing what we know about the local area.
I am a woman from Spain that resided in Merion Station over 14 years. I work as a psychologist in Langhorne Pennsylvania and therefore commute quite a distance almost everyday. Because of limited quality time I am always busy engaging in activities around nature, sports and friends. I like to cook, gather with friends and dancing. I believe it is important to be tolerant, easy going and respectful of each other differences.
