I'm sorry you felt like you did not have a great stay. However, it's upsetting brought up these issues during your stay because as a host I would have sent our property manager out there to address your issues. However you never raised any of the issues except that of the wifi. And when you raised that issue I promptly sent Comcast out there to fix it there very next morning.
Following your stay I had our property manager and housekeeper check for bugs and they found nothing. What's more is that none of the previous guests (as indicated in our reviews) experienced this. So I'm finding your comment about the bugs very hard to believe.
Lastly, regarding your comment about the neighborhood, everyone has a different comfort level. We have many guests who are completely ok with this area. This is not a picture perfect or upscale neighborhood by any means. However it is extremely close to downtown and midtown and while that allows for great convenience for our guests it also means that is is high walking traffic neighborhood and we can't control who walks around because it's an urban downtown area. That being said, we've never had any safety issues for our guests (again, as confirmed by our previous guests and their reviews). That being said, I would advise you and all future guests to read the neighborhood description for all Airbnbs and preview the pictures and ensure you are comfortable staying in that neighborhood. We are very upfront both in the description and the pictures and can't really do anything more than request that future guests take the time to make sure they are comfortable with where they are booking.
