Dunster, British Columbia, Canada

Dunster has limited amenities but does have a General Store with groceries and fuel. Restaurants and stores are available in Tete Jaune Cache, Valemount, and McBride. We recommend Upper Fraser Ranch Chalet airbnb for valley bottom accommodations if required.

We have lived in the headwaters of the Fraser River for 30 years, raised two sons and appreciate the magnificence & beauty of the wilderness that surrounds us in the Rocky and Cariboo Mountains. We have explored many of the area mountains, valleys, glaciers, and streams and love to share these places with people who have a similar respect for these wild spaces. On the mountain tops, ridges, or in the valley bottoms, these wild places are home to such a diversity of flora and fauna - come and explore and reconnect with this incredible wilderness, where the spaces are wide and the people are few.
