Our stay was more than awesome! With Wayan’s exceptional hospitality, he is a wonderful host who makes sure you are well taken care of. We happened to be the only guests at the time, as the volcano was active, however, Wayan and his family made us feel very safe throughout our entire stay. The villas are gorgeous- looking just as the pictures show. In fact, working as a photographer, I offered to take pictures of the newest villa to which Wayan declined. He said he wanted the guests to be overwhelmed with the villa, looking more beautiful than photos could portray. What a great guy! Highly recommend this spot to stay in Amed!

This is place is pretty much what you see is what you get. The room was as pictures described. Only one nightstand. There's a mini fridge with some drinks to purchase. The Bathroom is quite spacious with this whole 15 square feet of unused space...The shower head is literally a pipe coming out of a frog sculpture. The water got hot and it did the job. The water does spray over the rest of the bathroom floor during use, but they provide a broom sweegee to swipe it off. The wifi really isn't great... but it's a more remote part of Amed. There are Roosters in the morning and sometimes at night--but to be honest they are everywhere in Bali. Dogs woke us up barking really loud at 3am one night and didn't stop til 7, which made for a rough night and following day. Again, not their fault. This cabana is set back from the beach but you still get a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. You have this long roundabout access to get to the room, which is only inconvenient when you forget something. Once you're on the beach(45 second walk) you have an amazing view of Mount Agung, which unfortunately is about to erupt as we speak... My heart goes out to Wayan and his family. Wayan was great at communicating and arranged a car to pick us up in UBUD and stop at Besakih temple along the way. He also took us to a few snorkeling spots and arrange a motorbike rental for us. We also booked a ride with his friend to Sanur to catch our boat to Lembongan. I think all the travel cost more than we paid for the room. All in all, it was a great homebase for me and my husband on the 3rd leg of our honeymoon. Wayan will go above and beyond to meet your needs. And for the money, it's worth it. When you get there you will realize that the Huts are actually called the BBQ huts, with a sign and everything... Pray for Amed. Thank you Wayan.

Wayan is a very friendly and obliging guy. The Beachhouse is close to the beach and well located. You can go by boat from Amed to the gilli islands for a good price. It takes you about an hour to get to one of the Gilis. We really enjoyed our stay in Amed and we would like to come back.

Wayan's place is everything you see from the photos provided. The garden, the beach and the Mount Agung view.. it's very clean and quiet. The beach, however, is not the "prettiest" in Bali but it would suffice. Oh, it is black instead of white sand :) Strongly recommend this place if you wanna have a quiet place to unwind yourself!
