Enjoy our charming summerhouse close to the stunning beach and the beautiful sunsets. Its a house with a long history dating back to 1918 making it one of the first houses in the area. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the location (!!), the outdoor terrace and the big garden. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
The house is 40 m2 and has a 40m2 outdoor wooden teracce on the backside of the house facing the large sunny garden. In front of the house is a partly closed porch with 4-5 seatings. The house has a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with queen size bed and a bunk bed (2 beds), a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, and bathroom with shower. The house has many fine details like the original windows and the old burning stove in the living room. Also, pay attention the old photos hanging on the living room wall picturing the house 100 years ago!
The garden pavilion in the back of the garden is used for storage of sun beds, cousions etc. Guests have full access and everything can be used, however, it is not really suitable for sleeping/staying there in the early season.
You can barbecue using the Weber gas grill at the terrace. Bikes are also available for use: 2 adults (one with a baby seat) and two 2 kids. The garden has several swings, a playhouse, and lots of summer house play stuff.
Other things to note
Vejby Strand, situated between Rågeleje and Tisvilde, is a fine old holiday resort. With 49 m. above sea level it is located at the highest point on the North Sealand coastline. The area is characterized by steep slopes; access to the beach is by a number of narrow stairways. The sea view is magnificent and the beautiful undulating landscape offers fine nature experiences, e.g. Heatherhill, Tibirke Bakker and Tisvilde Hegn.
Access to the beach using one of the following gates / stairs
* Vejby Vesterstrand (end of Mågevej)
* Strandlygaard (end of Strandlygaardsvej)
