If you drive, the nearest paid parking lots are available at “FRYS FAST PARK” - 40 Francis St, which is located just behind the building or “CARE PARK” - 613 Little Collins St, which is a 4min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.
If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.
TIP: Parking in Melbourne city is extremely expensive! You'll be lucky to get away with AU$40 a day for parking. Try not to drive if you can cos you're in the FREE tram zone and public transportation in the city is just amazingly convenient. If you "REALLY" need to drive, the best tip I can give you is, rent a car from Avis, Europcar or Budget from the Southern Cross Station depot just round the corner, it will cost anywhere from AU$70 to AU$150 a day depending on what car you're looking for. Rent it for the days you need and drop it back at the depot when you're done. It's heaps better than paying for parking in the city, or Uber is also another economical option.

If you plan to cook, that's fine but please be warned that the fire alarm is rather sensitive, so please be sure to open the window and switch on the range hood while cooking, cos if it goes off, you'll be liable for the costs of the fire truck's visit. Ensure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the keys to you personally. Check-ins are between 2pm - 10pm. Check-outs are strictly before 10am. Convenient free trams at your doorstep. Walking distance to Flinders station, supermarkets, restaurants, theaters and the MCG. You'll enjoy privacy with room & shared bathroom on your own floor! Collins Street is known as the "Upper East Side" of Melbourne - will leave you at that! Our apartment is conveniently located on Collins Street and Swanston Street where free trams are easily accessible. Flinders Street Station is also about a 5 minute walk away.
