My place is close to museums, in fact it is right next to the Macintosh School of Arts, libraries, concert halls ( Glasgow Royal concert Hall and Conservatoire) are in the same street, cinemas (GFT), restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, night-life, public transport, Buchanan bus Station and both Queen Street, and Central Stations, and all three universities. My place is good for solo adventurers, musicians and academics.

The space

The flat is called a main door flat, which in Scotland means a flat with it's own main entrance. In fact it is like a house.
Although it is very central, It has two beautiful gardens, and is quite.
There are four bed rooms in my flat, I tend to rent out 2 of them. One a double bed room and the other one a single. The subject of this listing is the smaller single bed room.
There are two bath rooms: The main, bath room is on the basement floor, with bath and shower, and dressing area. The rest room is on the ground floor, with WC and hand wash basin.
There is a large, kitchen/ dinning /sitting room on the basement floor.
The kitchen and the kitchen equipments and the lounge are only accessible to the double bedroom guests.
There is street parking facilities for guests booking for 2 months or over.
Note that only the fix price of £38 per night is valid.

Guest access

Guests are accessed from the main door entrance. you can see a picture of it in the ad.
The check in time is from 5-8pm.
Although check in is possible after 8pm, by arrangement, no check in before 5 pm is accepted. No access before 5 pm to leave luggage is accepted ( I have not a luggage area for keeping luggages in the flat).
There is street residential parking for long term residents of over 2 months.

Interaction with guests

Being an Architectural conservationist, and having a PH d in History of Art, I am quite keen to help my guests to visit the best in Glasgow.

Other things to note

I require at least 24 hours booking notice. It is not instant booking.
All the house rules are mentioned in the second listing.
use of the large bath room is limited to 10 minutes.
Home shoes are required to be used inside the flat, and are also provided, although guests are advised and well come to bring their own.
As I have two listing, I invite my guests to read the full information and look at photographs in both listing for more information.
Although I have posted a picture of the small room with different furniture, at present the furniture have been altered. I will post new pictures of this room shortly, when I obtain new photographs. Please ask me any information you wish to have about the room in your pre booking inquiry.
I do not agree to rent out my flat for any other purpose but providing bnb.

Zorè is a lovely host and her home is very conveniently located within waking distance of every place I wanted to go in Glasgow. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Her house has some clutter, so if having a spotless environment is important to you, then this probably isn't the right place for you. If you need good access to a kitchen, this isn't the right place for you either. I know that the other guest staying at the same time as I was there was quite unhappy with the place, and there was a loud confrontation between he and Zorè late one night. It was disturbing to my stay. Apart from that and the clutter I had a fine time in Glasgow. Thanks Zorè

Response from Zore:
Dear Saskia, If you take a few minutes and read the description and house rules in my listing you will realize that you were very wrong about your comments. First, because the guests booking the single bed room, have no access to the kitchen, lounge and the gardens, for any purpose. Therefore, you have not only used a place in my home to which you had no access, you have publicly commented negatively on it. Second, you have also commented about an argument I had with my Swiss guest Josef, without understanding the subject of the argument as we were speaking partly in French, and your comments were based on what you guessed. Having forgotten where he left his towels, at 10pm, he asked me to provide him a fresh set of towels. I found his towels which he did leave in the bathroom. He told me that as a host it was my duty to provide fresh towels when required, and that was a normal procedure in hotels and BnBs. I told him he had to book in a hotel or a BnB. Furthermore, it was me who asked him to replace the towel in the restroom correctly on the floor. He did not mention any dirty space, nor clutter. My advise to you is to read the informations in the listings about the accommodations you book first: in order to arrive in time for checking in and second: not to provide false public comments on your hosts private living areas; and leaving comments about discussions you don't understand the language in which it was delivered.

Zore is a very very interesting host and very attentive. The house is old and wonderfully quirky - real character and the location is fabulous.
