Mimi's road-tripping again, so she's opened her delightful 3 bedroom home to fellow travellers. Her Picton pad is a whimsical mix of modern amenities & eclectic vintage design. The best of the County is at your doorstep.
Super groovy 3 bedroom, 2 storey, 160-year-old home freshly renovated and decorated with a vintage vibe. Thoughtfully appointed with everything to make your stay a comfortable one. Mimi's is centrally located in the heart of Canada's new favourite vacation destination.
The house sits on the town hill on a triangular plot of land with a perennial garden in the front. There's a tidy backyard with a new deck and views of Macaulay Mountain, comfortable for dining outdoors but maybe not touch football.

Interaction with guests
Mimi's is designed for self-service so you can check yourself in whenever you arrive after 4pm. Meander, lollygag, no need to rush. Ease into your holiday.
You will be provided with a personalized code for the lock box on the front door so you can come and go as you please. There is a guest book full of information to make your stay fun and worry-free, but I'm available via text, email or phone if you have any questions.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: this is the new Mimi's Not Here. She moved last year when the quiet cafe below her 2nd storey Wellington apartment became a bar. Nice people, not so nice for sleeping. The Picton house is better for families with children, light sleepers, families with light sleepers, children with lightsabers, and any combination thereof. (New digs, same superhost, same supercheek, more amenities!)
Please leave the house in the condition you found it.
Quiet after 10pm as a courtesy to Mimi's neighbours.
Please note: the house is suitable for families, but the house is not child-proofed. The stairs which lead to the lower level walkout to the backyard might be a bit tricky for younger guests or those with mobility issues.

I own Go Fish Vintage, a funky little shop in a blacksmith barn in Hillier, Prince Edward County (on hiatus for 2017). Many of my favourite finds have migrated to Mimi's for the enjoyment of her guests.
I moved out of Toronto more than a decade ago to find that elusive live/work balance, and I couldn't have landed in a better spot. The County is a community of creators - art, wine, food, magic - and I'm delighted to share some insider tips to make your stay at Mimi's a memorable one.
