NEW FOR 2017! Welcome to Seaside Pines. Ours is a comfy home with spacious kitchen, relaxing sunroom, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Two full bedrooms plus an extra fold-out bed makes this home great for couples, small families, and single person rentals. There is also a Pack N Play in the master bedroom closet. You are welcome to use the outdoor shower for rinsing off when you get back from the beach.

The space

On days when the house is listed as being unavailable, we can sometimes make special arrangements to accommodate our guests. So, don't hesitate to send us a message with your request. It doesn't hurt to ask.

If your party is larger than four people, let us know. We may be able to accommodate you with special arrangements.

The house is on private land and offers parking for up to 4 vehicles. There is enough room in this home for everyone to have some alone time. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, half a block from the ocean. There's a large yard behind the house nestled among the pine trees. If you're looking for privacy in a quiet, safe and secure environment, Seaside Pines is the place for you.

Guest access

You will have full use of the living areas in the house, including the roomy kitchen complete with pots, dishes, glassware and silverware. (The attic and basement are off limits.) There is a one-room lockout attached to the house. This room is for the owner's use only, and is generally not available to rent. It will remain empty during your stay, unless alternate arrangements are made with you ahead of time. Fresh and clean bed linens and towels are supplied at the beginning of your stay. Beach towels, umbrellas and picnic baskets are available for your use as well.

Interaction with guests

You are welcome to call me at any time if you need help with anything. My goal is to make sure your stay is at least as good as you expect it to be. Help yourself to the bottled water, fresh fruit and other goodies when they are available.

Other things to note

Cape Cod offers such diverse natural beauty that it's impossible to see it all in one visit. Be sure to check out some of the many inlets, the lighthouses, and other hidden treasures along the water's edge. I am a photographer, so I know about some especially gorgeous hidden spots that you might not otherwise venture to on your own. If this interests you, I will be happy to provide a map to some of the more picturesque areas.

This is a great home with a lot of amenities. Everything was clean. The house is bright and airy in the mornings and close to good restaurants in Dennis. There is a public beach a short walk away. The kitchen is well equipped and there were fruits and coffee for the guests. We had a great time here!

Phyllis's place was like a home away from home. The kids felt right at home and had no trouble falling asleep in the comfy beds. The place is a 2 min walk to the beach and the use of corsair motel's chairs and beach area is great so we didn't have to carry our chairs from the house. Corsair also had beach toys that the kids could use since we forgot ours. The waters of Nantucket sound are warm and calm and great for swimming. We did drive to Nauset beach one day to catch some wave action, but for the most part stayed put. Look forward to making it a yearly tradition. Thanks for a wonderful stay !

This private little beach house was perfect for what we needed! A secluded backyard with a patio, grill and outdoor shower! The beach was right down the little street and there were a few restaurants/cafes/bars within walking distance! All in all, an excellent spot and we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Phyllis' place was awesome. She was a great host. I'm sad we didn't get to meet her as we missed her at check-in and checkout. The space was exactly as described, and it was stocked with fruit and bottled water. It IS a very close walk to the beach and a nearby playground, as well as local restaurants and ice cream shops. Phyllis even provided us with a Pack n' Play (portable playpen/crib) for our toddler since he's not in a "big boy" bed yet. It was brand new and he slept so well. We loved the outdoor shower most of all! I don't think that was anywhere in the description and we were pleasantly surprised! Overall we had a great trip :)

Wow Phyllis - what a great place you have here. My wife and myself decided to treat my parents to 3 nights at the Cape after visiting Vermont and Boston. The stay at Phyllis's cottage made our experience so easy and unforgettable. The best things first - location location location! We spent quite a few hours exploring different beaches on the Cape and we settled on the fact the the best place to swim was right in front of us. The beach at the end of the road (5 min walk maximum) was so clean and the water was the warmest and easiest we found in all our travels. (For further information we went to beaches on the east coast - Nauset / Coast Guard worth visiting but the water is much colder and there is are strong waves - and on the north bay side Cold Storage / Corpotation the beach was no way as nice) Much of the Cape has very high parking fees ($20 - $25) or are filled with 'Private Beaches' - what Phyllis has here is perfect a lovely little beach with great water for swimming. The cottage itself? Well it has everything you'd ever need for a week! Fridge full of bits (coffee milk tea etc) cooker, microwave and all the things you'd need to get by. There is a huge TV with all channels plus a very quick Wifi. Both rooms are comfortable - one with 2 singles and one with a double. The shower outdoors is just sublime! Great pressure and lovely to be outside. Didn't try the one inside. All in all - we loved the location - you can get everywhere from here. Thanks Phyllis. PS - if you want to go Whale Watching - I'd much recommend the (EMAIL HIDDEN) out of Barnstable we had a once in a lifetime experience and it's only 15 mins drive from here.

The cottage is very nicely located and provides all that is required. It readily sleeps 4 adults. The folding bed is more for child use. Phyllis was very easy to reach through airbnb site, although we did not meet in person. Cape Cod is a very nice area and very suitable for a relaxing holiday.
