The room is comfortable and all the forniture are new. The house is placed in a good spot for public transfertation (you will arrive in the centre in just ten minutes), but we've found the room too much cold, the bed a little small for two people and the room a little dirty. Oth…

The place was clean (good given the very high cleaning fee) and fairly conveniently located, although you’ll have to take a bus or taxi to do any sightseeing. But overwhelming these positives were a whole lot of negatives. First, it is the smallest apartment I have ever seen …

Response from Rory:
Thank you Paul for your feedback, but I've never see such an offensive review on Airbnb. I didn't expect such ill-mannered words from someone I was sharing my apartment with. Its disappointing to see such arrogant remarks that completely contradict the majority of my reviews! I feel the pictures do my apartment justice - I don't know why you expected it to be any larger or decorated any differently in person? You would struggle to find a hostel dorm room in Dublin for the price you paid, let alone a larger hotel room. More than half my 43 reviews mention tourist attractions within walking distance. If you want a half hour to St Stephens Green you can pass the Jameson Distillery, O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, and Grafton Street along the way. Less than 20 minutes' walk to the Guinness factory too! There are also numerous trendy hip bars and cafés in my quiet neighbourhood, so I'm sorry you felt let-down by the location. Thanks for the feedback on the bed, I will look into this because no previous guests have mentioned this. In fact my apartment is frequently described as "comfortable" if you look at recent reviews. And finally, I am often travelling in different time zones so I have help managing my account. This ensures that all your questions are answered and problems are resolved in a timely manner. Just read my other reviews and you will see plenty of praise for my communication and check-in/check-out process.

We stayed at Rory's place because we heard that Stoneybatter is the upcoming area in Dublin and it actually is. We loved those hip small brunch / small meal places and pubs in the area, better than the ones in Temple Bar. Plus Phoenix Park is quite close which is very nice. Locat…

Great for a single traveler. The apartment is a bit noisy from neighbors and cars but I would recommend it.

The bed, bathroom and kitchen were all clean when we walked in. We were provided with a blow dryer, small fridge, stove, and an outlet adapter which proved to be quite useful. The place is small but appropriate for 2 people. There was no full-length mirror and the blinds don't en…

Small but nice little flat, conveniently located about 300m from a bus stop that will take you straight into the heart of Dublin. Great value for money!
