Interaction with guests

The guests can have absolute privacy or a more sociable interaction. I am happy for either. The fire circle is great for an after-dark chat, play music, or meditate. Many guests have enjoyed me taking them through the studio and talking about art.

Our second stay with Nick. Both occasions have been easy and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view. Nick is great company and a wealth of knowledge.

Great stay, quite, convenient, clean with a nice host. Sunrise in bed and coffee and breakfast on the deck watching the light and ships on the sea. Very nice.

A fabulous place to watch the ships sail up the Derwent to Hobart, whilst enjoying a secluded, bushland, cottage garden with city transport close by. A wonderful bed and truly novel experience surrounded by art.

A true gem. Nick is a fantastic host - very generous and welcoming even though my girlfriend and I arrived late in the evening. It was great that the room (which is more so a self contained apartment without full kitchen) is attached to his art studio. We chatted for a while about his travels, our travels, art, the world, so on and so forth. It was a great way to wind down after a long day and when we awoke the next day, we felt refreshed and ready for the next set of adventures ahead. Thanks Nick - it was a pleasure to meet you and to stay for a couple of days.

I love colour and the Arts and crafts. I have worked in the arts for many years. I am easy going and friendly and look forward to engaging with travelers and hope I can promote this beautiful island to all new-comers.
